Integrity dare not speak its name in .UKIP

I made a simple request recently of a well known, talented, honest intelligent man in UKIP. My request was trivial and could have helped our cause. This man  was clearly worried about acceding to my request. I surmised his integrity had been compromised by being close to Farage and his Cabal.

This is what happens to decent people when they get near the top of UKIP. They lose their previous integrity or it is destroyed by the Cabal. Other political parties allow their members to retain their views where these d8isagree with the party leader and remain members even prominent members of their party. Look how many Tories, even cabinet ministers voted in the House against Cameron and his Obama poodle policy. Will they be smeared, abused and kicked out of the Conservative party? You must be joking that only happens in cults and UKIP is now a Farage cult.

Nikki Sinclaire stood up for her beliefs that UKIP should not be aligned with and sit in the European parliament with nasty neo-fascist mid European groups matter how much money is offered or how much Farage gains from such alliances . She has been villified and kicked out of UKIP by the Farage Cabal. She has worked hard and effectively for many years for UKIP and this is her reward. No I don't agree with everything Nikki has done or said but I have no doubt, net net, she was a huge asset to UKIP. Her offence was not damaging UKIP electorally but damaging Farage's super sensitive ego.

Trevor Colman MEP a man who has worked for over 15 years for Ukip is not on the UKIP MEP slate but recent Tory Helmer is on the slate along with a collection of third rate recent Tory converts. UKIP increasingly is a party of self seeking Tory failures. Cameron must be really grateful to Farage for taking this bunch of no hopers off his hands leaving him free to pursue  his LibDem agenda. Nikki was one

I count the good people with real integrity like Martin Haslam who have been kicked out of UKIP by Farage and weep. Are those recent Tory recruits to the MEP slate many of whom have only been in UKIP for a matter of months. Are they people of integrity? I doubt it. I remember the UKIP charges against me were assembled by ex-Tory Bannerman. Where is Bannerman now? Back with the Tories and that's where I expect these recent MEP slate recruits to go after the 2014 European elections.

Poor UKIP ordinary members. Read Animal Farm and learn what UKIP is.

UKIP the protest party but for how long?

UKIP are riding high in the polls just now. Farage claims it is all down to him and the sycophants chant Yes Nigel you are so wonderful. Absolute tosh. The electorate are currently cheesed off with LibLabCon and want to give them a kick up their three cheeked bum. Frankly if UKIP were lead by a performing monkey which come to think they are the electorate would right now tell the pollsters they intend voting for UKIP.

This will attract the attention of LibLabCon who have a whole army of media sycophants who even now are digging into Farage's past. They may unearth more nuggets for the tabloids and more trouble for Farage. Ah well, c'est la vie as the French say.

The main sycophants by that time will be ensconced in their lucrative meaningless MEP seats as will Farage. Who loses? The UKIP rank and file and those of us who want no preferement financial or otherwise but just to see our country free.

But what will happen in the 2015 General Election? Well you won't get Farage and the Cabal talking about this. I confidently pedict it will be UKIP nil point. Farage and the Cabal will have trousered the EU dosh (our dosh) and who cares. As Tom Lehrer sang in his Werner von Braun song. The rockets go up whosh who cares where they come downm its not my department. Once the Cabal have the EU dosh in their pockets who cares? Ukip will have seved their purpose, lined their pockets and maybe got them a red leather seat. What more could a sycophant ask for.

Can UKIP be made fit for purpose?

I am very pessimistic that UKIP can be fixed. I despair of all these simpletons who tell me I should have stayed in and fought for reform from the inside. That has been UK policy on the EU ever since we l
joined. It has failed and things have just gone on getting worse for us in the UK. Its the same with UKIP and for the same reasons. The EU and UKIP are controlled by a small inner group with their own agenda. Its the same agenda for both groups maximising their own personal power and wealth.

The EU and UKIP are very similar. Indeed I have long thought most of Farage's ideas about professionalising UKIP have come straight out of the EU book on how to emasculate democracy. We can only get out of the EU by getting a parliamentary Commons vote passed to repeal the 1972 European Act. The LibDem thinking Lords will of course oppose it so the Parliament Act will almost cetainly have to be used to over-ride these objectors who have of course no democratic mandate.

A necessary first step will be to get an out vote in an in/out referendum. We need a similar vote by the membership of UKIP repealing Farage's many constitutional reforms and returning to the original UKIP constitution and ideals of Alan Sked including the core principle that we will not contest the EU organised, propaganda elections, for the powerless and usesless European parliament. The EU is no more a democratic organisation than Russia or the PRC. These elections are just a well paid sop to the chattering classes who eagerly queue up at the trough.

We should be campaigning for a referendum in UKIP on our conferring pseudo democratic legitimacy on a fascist dictatorship by participating in their elections which are as rigged as those run by Mugabe.

I raised this point the first time I spoke at the UKIP NEC. I was shouted down by Denny, Duffy and Bannerman. Its the sort of democracy you get from public school boys. He who shouts loudest wins. You can see it at noon every Wednesday at PMQs.

O tempora o mores!

Farage has to go as first step to restoring UKIP to its members. That is a necesary but not sufficient condition for a democratic UKIP. Removing all his paid Cabal placemen is also necesasry. There is no point in removing Farage only for his stooge Nuttall to take his place. We have been there before with Pearson, the Farage stooge leader who had not bothered to read the party manifesto. But the rot goes deeper. I remember Crowther trying to butter me up at the SWRC. He was very disappointed when I told him I was solely interested in getting our country back and out of the EU and I was not interested in internal UKIP machinations.

The fish rots from the head and in UKIP's case the rot has like gangrene spread so far into its body politic that I fear the case is terminal.

If the needed UKIP reform comes, and its very unlikely, it has to be from outside the NEC/Cabal. Perhaps Natrass's  reported court action against his exclusion from the West Midlands MEP slate. Nikki being kicked out for refusing to sit with Farage's fascist allies in the farcical European talking shop if it gets proper mdia coverage. Perhaps a campaign to get Mrs James as UKIP's lead candidate in the South East.

The real long shot is Bloom, buoyed up by his recent media adulation of his political incorrectness taking over Farage's media slots. Someone has to given Farage's air time as he has said he will be concentrating on sorting out UKIP's omnishambles of a party machine. The media will see more prospect of stories about Bloom Scousers like Nuttall have never gone down well in Beeb land since the days of Degsy Hatton.

I live in faint hope but I expect disappointment. UKIP will be assimilated into the EU political machine and Lord Farage of Brussels will emerge in due course from the smoke filled room.

We can't all be wrong about Farage

The latest victim of the Cabal, Wilf Gilpin, is saying the same things about how UKIP is run as I did, Richard North, Del Young, Tony Butcher, David Abbott and all the others who have been smeared by the Cabal and forced to exit UKIP. Have we all been not up to it. Unlikely. The truth is we were not prepared to endorse the Farage cult that UKIP has become. We wanted a party that would fightto get our country not one devoted to one man's personal ambition to be a media figure.

Mr Gilpin puts it very well, nothing witten down so no proper audit trail on anything. No knowledge of where Farage is or what he is doing. I remember when Farage announced that his man Nuttall was to replace Whittaker as party chairman that I asked what consultations there had been with the NEC prior to Farage's announcement. Farage replied that he had consulted by phone but 'obviously not you'. What is obvious is of course I as an NEC member should have been consulted as should everyone on the NEC. I then asked if those so consulted would raise their hands. No one did. The consultation claim was a sham.

Reading the accounts of Mr Gilpin's demise it is obvious nothing has changed in the way UKIP is run as a Farage cult. What is certain is that UKIP can never be a proper dare I say professional party whilst this goes on.

UKIP's biggest electoral asset right now is Mrs James. She barely comes half way up the SE MEP slate. Farage who is a proven electoral liability over a number of Westminster by-elections is number one.  Only parliament can get us out of the EU and that can only be achieved by getting UKIP MPs elected. The electorate has rejected Farage on several occasions. Like Bloom he only gets a seat when people vote for the party, UKIP, not the person.

It is very distressing that UKIP's rank and file do not realise what a disastrous leader Farage is. The penny is dropping with the Tories re Cameron and Osborne with many Tory MPs nervously feeling their majorities but then they have to be voted in by the electorate unlike Farage who can be voted onto top SE MEP list by his preferment seekig  placemen.

Farage's control of the UKIP machine ensures that the rank and file will never hear from those who know what lies behind the beer and fags image.

I hope Abe Lincoln's dictum about not being able to fool all of the people all of the time will eventually percolate through to the UKIP branches.

More tales from UKIP

Last time I pointed out UKIP was a one man band because that's the tune organ grinder Farage wanted played, that tune and no others.

Now I read Mike Natrass is upset at not being selected as an MEP candidate and may be thinking of legal action. Why am I surprised. Well the last time I was in Mr Natrass's company I did ask him if he wanted to stand again as an MEP and he replied, No. I presume he has had a change of heart or possibly finance.

It seems that one Will Gilpin has resigned as CEO UKIP after a six monthe tenure. The Guardian reported it thus, "Will Gilpin is to leave his post after party sources indicated the former military officer struggled with many Ukip figures who cheerfully admit they are unmanageable"

I have never met Mr Gilpin but I presume he was another Farage appointee who found out what the UKIP cult was like. The fruit cakes and loonies description is looking increasingly near the bone. Mr Gilpin joins an ever increasing group no longer playing the one man band's one tune.

This is currently known as the silly season for the media because of the lack of real news whilst our poitical masters are off on holiday. UKIP is well equiped to fill that space. Here come the clowns, the one  man band and the bongo player. Its good to be back for the UKIP circus season.

Why UKIP is a one man band

I have returned briefly from France to read of G Bloom's latest faux pas on foreign aid in true pub boor/Nigel Farage style. His point is a good one. Why are we dishing out foreign aid to corrupt regimes of all colours? But to link it to the word bongo alientates many and loses loads of votes. Unfortunately Bloom is all to typical of those supporting Farage's cult like control of UKIP. Any people of serious intelligence and talent have been hounded out  of UKIP by this unsavoury group as they might be seen as better leaders than Farage. It is the way Gordon Brown operated. Any rivals of the right age and intelligence as rivals were eliminated leaving no credible leadership alternatives. This lead to GB's uncontested coronation as Labour leader and the disastrous situation Labour is now in. We have an appalingly bad LibCon government to which Labour poses no threat.

A brief scan of UKIP slates for the 2014 elections shows this mixture of Bloom clones, Farage sycophants, juveniles, token women and token members of ethnic minorities. There are a few good candidates of proven worth like Mrs James but why Jill Seymour?

More telling is who is not on the list, James Dellingpole for one. An excellent journalist with impeccable Eurosceptic credentials is left off. Why?

I have no doubt UKIP will win a lot of seats in 2014. Yesterday an old died in the wool former Tory agent told me he was so fed up with homosexual marriage, foreign aid etc he would vote UKIP to give Cameron a kick up the bum. Perhaps he should ask Mr Towler, UKIP SW candidate, his views on this topic.

I have equally no doubt that even with 30 or 40 MEPs UKIP will not progress our cause of leaving the EU one iota. They simply don't know how to!
