Time to form a party that can get us out of the EU

My local branch Yeovil did well at the recent Somerset County Council elections winning 2 seats. They have however been subject to much interference and criticism from Faragista and Somerset UKIP chairperson, Dorothy Baker pictured below in Taunton with Farage in the Taunton Deane campaign for the May 2013 County Council Elections:

 Event thumbnail

With this personal visit and support of the Fuhrer in her campaign how many County Council seats did her Taunton Deane  branch win? Err zero! Despite this Ms Baker took it upon herself to descend on UKIP Yeovil to tell them how to run a branch! Six members, almost the whole of the Yeovil committee have resigned in protest at this unwarranted interference by another of the Farage/Crowther stooges.

I gather something similar is going on with Chris Pain in Lincolnshire where UKIP won 16 seats enough to make them the official opposition on the council.

D-day looming for county's breakaway UKIP councillors

Crowther picked a dispute  with Chris and arranged for him to be expelled from the party by UKIP NEC of which Chris was an elected member. Lincolnshire UKIP is now in chaos. How many fptp elections has Crowther won? Like Baker none!

One of the Yeovil resignees remarked to me that there must now by plenty of good  ex-UKIP members to form a real leave the EU party. I think he is right and now is the time to act. Farage has never won a first past the post UK election in which he has stood as candidate and never will. Voters won't vote for him. He therefore can never get us out of the EU and should stop obstructing those who can win fptp elections. Farage is now the best asset the EU have to keep us a vassal state of Brussels.

You win at UK politics by backing winners ie candidates the electorate like and will vote for, not Farage's placemen and cronies who have zero electoral appeal. We saw this at the Eastleigh parliamentary by-election where my neighbour Ashdown reckoned Mrs James could have won for UKIP with better organisation against  a lack lustre LibDem and useless Tory.

Alan Sked, UKIP's founder is setting up a party called New Deal. He describes it as a left centre party. This gives me a big problem. We have had enough of left-right centre ground politics in my life time. Like Richard North and those who support his Harrogate agenda I want to change the political staus quo but unlike his group I recognise we have to use existing electoral rules to do so. I want a party that espouses common sense policies and common decency not this polarised, ya-boo irrelevant claptrap we get. No party has a monopoly on good policies. Coming from the working class I can see merit in somey Labour policies. Oxford and Bank of England enables me to see merit in some Tory policies. I don't honestly know what LibDems are for. They keep changing their mind so often!

Alan Sked wants a UK based party that will never send its elected members to Brussels which of course is de facto support for the EU. This is UKIP's huge con. For money and status it supports the EU. It is now a divisive party without a shred of principle or democracy. It is a cult.

I want a principled inclusive democratic party that will get us out of theEU. I urge others who want this to contact Alan Sked and offer him your support. I hope Nikki Sinclair, Mike Natrass, Roger Knapmanl, Bob Crow nd  Trevor Colman will support Alan. Farage has nothing to fear unless those who want a clean honest and decent anti-EU party unite  His email is:

Who is Steve Crowther?

I first ran into Steve Crowther at a meeting of the SWRC about 4 years ago. I did not understand why he was there but it appeared he had been invited by the late Malcolm Wood. He introduced himself to me and then attempted to ingratiate himself. I have met numerous people like Mr Crowther during my time in the civil service. They all wanted something. With Mr Crowther it was obvious he wanted to worm himself into the UKIP SW. I was polite but distant with him.

My reason? I had no idea who he was and I still don't. My career is a matter of public record. It is the same for all serious people in politics. But I can find no history of Mr Crowther. On the web he states he worked in London for 30 years as a journalist and busnessman. What business was he in? Where was he published? I would be grateful for any answers as I can find no record of Mr Crowther. Its the same as trying to trace details to support Farage' s claims of a successful and lucrative career in the City. Its dificult to find verifiable facts.

So Mr Crowther pops up and soon he is Party Chairman a post in the gift of the great leader. What fact checking did Farage do about this man. It is reported on the web that he was previously in the LibDems, a party known for its rabid Europhilia. It would appear that Mr Crowther has suffered a Pauline conversion on the road to the money  pots of Brussels. Has he beeen a success? Well it seems he made a complete Horlicks of entering UKIP candidates for the London Assembly elections but as long as he retains the favour of the Fuhrer that will all be forgotten.

Then we have the old Tories seeking to reinvent their political careers. Mr Helmer is a typical example. I met Mr Helmer at a West Coker. Alan Sked was also there. Alan, UKIP's founder, was a man of integrity, brains and principles. Me Helmer was just another old Tory looking for a new home which it seems he has now found. But at least Mr Helmer's history is verifiable.

Unfortunately so is Mr and Mrs Hamilton's history a matter of public record. UKIP's problem is that all these people come with a huge amount of political baggage. Fact checking a personal history is one thing but damaged goods is quite another.

The shame is that UKIP did not have to go down this route. There were lots of talented clean skins in UKIP of high integrity, Del Young & Martin Haslam and Alan Sked to name but a few. Integrity does not seem to come high on the list of requirements for preferement in UKIP.

If anyone can supply a checkable history of Mr Crowther I would be most grateful. Did he go singing in his youth in quiet villages like Mr Farage? Better to find out now than later.

An Immigration truth that dare not speak its name.

Exactly four years ago my wife and I visited Oz to sail the barrier reef and see the Ashes first test at Brisbane. We arrived in Sydney from the UK and Oz Immgration made us bin all our nice Cox's apples to avoid the chance of bringing any plant infections into Oz. The Aussies were dead right not to put at risk their huge agricultural industry for a few Pom tourists.

It set me thinking and I recalled how 20 years previously one of my colleagues had decided to emigrate to Oz. He had the offer of a good job at CSIRO Melbourne but he, his wife and children had to undergo a very rigorous healt examination at their own expense to prove they were fit and healthy and would not be a burden on the Oz health system but also, like the our apples, they were not carrying any nasty transmittable infectitious disease. My colleague Alan was found to have an arthritic little finger on his left hand. As a result he had to undergo and pay for a whole further battery of tests to prove his arthritis was only in his little finger and he would not be a burden on the state.

The Aussies have got this dead right. They also have no truck with angry Muslims. As an Aussie minister said on TV whilst we were there if these guys are looking for an Islamic paradise its not called Australia.

The biggest adult health hazard facing the UK is multiple  drug resistant TB. All cases have been traced back to third world immigrants from the sub-continent or Africa . Does it matter? You bet it does. Its very contagious in the close packed  housing conditions that these immigrants choose to live in.

Our idiot boy politicians like Clegg have forgotten what a devastating disease TB was  pre 1950 and the dicovery and use of the PAS  Strep combination of drugs poineered in Edinburgh by Sir John Crofton then Dean of the medical school. I visited John about 4 years ago. I was glad I did. He was then 96 and died the following year.

The PAS/Strep combination which costs less than one thousand pounds per patient  is useless against the multiple drug resistant TB that comes in with these immigrants. Do we demand tests prior to arrival in the UK to test all immigrants? We do not. The bleeding hearts say it would stigmatise these immigrants. Wait till one of their relatives contracts MDR TB  and dies although as there are few immigrants in Notting Hill etc  where the bleeding hearts live they are not at high risk. Its different for the poor of Hackney but they are not members of the chattering classes and don't figure in the Guardian.

MDR TB can be cured but it takes 2-5 years and the course of drug treatment involved costs one to two millin pounds. Thats right over a million pounds per case! Ask Sally Davies, the government CMO.

I can only quote Enoch Powell. Future generations will think we must have been mad to let these people in. So whenever some greedy business man talks of the benefits of Immigration ask them if they will indemnify the UK against the cost of treating MDR TB that some of these migrants carry.

Why, oh why can we not learn from the Australians and the Swiss. Well it involves confronting the actualite something our poiliticians run a mile from.  They truly live in their cosseted Westminster/ Brussels bubble and never have to engage with ordinary people. An outbreak of MDR TB in Westminster is the only thing that might impinge on these useless people.

Be sure your schoolboy transgressions will be found

That is the cross politicians will have to bear in this google/internet age. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone but a little forethought begore opening the gob might save a lot of angst.

Latest to be caught out is LibDem serial-shagger Clegg on Mr Ferrari's LBC show.

Here is Clegg after Ferraris relevations about how Clegg was brilliantly taught at Westminster, a very expensive and exclusive school in central London.

It must have hurt when Ferrari revealed he was taught:

English by a former Royal Marine, Mr Coggan

Their Oxbridge entrance tutor and history teacher was a Mr Cook. Despite not having a teaching qualification he managed to get the Clegon into Cantab.

Classics was taught by a Mr Zinn who ignored the set texts and got excellent results without a PGCE.

The truth is a PGCE course does not teach you how to teach. It simply requires you to regurgitate large amounts of Guardian type drivel.

The difference is then these people go on to teach anything irrespective of their subject knowledge. It is the root cause of the UK sinking down the internatinal league tables in Physics, Maths etc. How many state schools even try to teach classics. How many state school teachers have an A -level in Latin, Maths or Physics? When parents pay for their sprogs to be educated they expect them to be taught by someone who knows their subject not a politically correct twat.

Dulwich must have been good enough at German if the schoolboy Farage could sing the Horst Wessel and other Nazi schools

Milliband junior was well versed in Marx. Now that may be on the PGCE curriculm!

As for Dave at Eton there is nothing to report. The last former OE premier, Sir Alec Douglas Home was allegedly a dab hand with what one could do to ones fag with a cricket stump.

I doubt if Tony was taught by many PGCE types at Fettes.

The bigggest private fee paying school in Edinburgh is Watsons, FPs M Rifkind and Chris Hoy. I well remember its head venturing into enemy territory of Heriots fifty years ago and stating although he had a first class degree from Oxford as far as the Scottish Education Dept was cocerned he was just another uncertificated  teacher.

Star teachers like star footballers are born not made by politically correct PGCE labels.

I gather Alan Sugar wants Cameron to fire Clegg after his latest gaff. Dave of course won't. Clegg gaffs will be manna to the Tories at the next election.

The Tory party is inherently more democratic than UKIP

I admire the way Tories of all shades from Douglas Carswell to backbench Europhiles can express views critical of, and opposing, the policies of the Tory leadership and remain respected and admired members of their party. It is not allowed in UKIP. Any views opposing Farage's views are seen as treason rather than the plain common sense they frequently are. Why is this? Well the Tories are a British party born and bred whereas UKIP is now a creation and  creature of the EU. It did not have to be but when Farage put EU money before anti-EU principles and went to Brussels to take the EU's thirty pieces of silver the die was cast.

It did not have to be thus. Many starting with UKIP's founder Alan Sked and after that Del Young and even little me opposed sending UKIP MEPs to Brussels to be further corrupted. Alan is no longer in UKIP and Del was improperly kicked out by Nuttall and I am now a non-person.

True in 2009 I allowed my name to go forward onto the UKIP SW MEP slate but I made it clear that if elected the whole of any salary I received from the EU I  would donate to UKIP. Legge, the belted Earl, found my pledge incompatible with his Etonian standards. Ah Eric Blair where are you now? The Farage cabal fearing my heresy might be catching arranged for my de-selection from the SW list tout de suite. The same cabal reinstated Towler who had been democratically de-selected by the SW back onto the list.

It is by quite deliberate design that the EU charade of parliament places all power with the party managers who control the party candidate slates. This ensures political powerstays within the political elite who are so very accommodating to the EU line when fed lots of money and perks. It of course suits Farage and his ilk down to the ground. Make no mistake Farage and his cabal are fully paid up members of the EU political elite. The little charades on Question Time are the circuses put on to entertain the plebs, to use an in vogue word. The other part of the Roman Emperors recipe on how to rule, bread, is proving currently a little more difficult for the colleagues with the current huge unemployment in club Med land.

There is no doubt Cameron would like to control theTory party candidate selection the way Farage totally controls the UKIP selection process. He has his A-list etc but Tory local democracy is strong nowhere more so than here in the South West where a very independent lady Sarah Woolaston was chosen and elected as a Tory MP by a US style primary election. Note how Dave has not repeated this procedure. He is aware that such democratic processes might be catching.

But even some conventionally selected Tories like Carswell are largely uncontrollable by Dave and oik Gideon. Carswell and his ilk are chosen by local Tories as their best, and probably, chance of winning the seat. In European elections a monkey on the party list would be voted in. Talent is not required as most UKIP MEPs regularly prove.

That's why UKIP has never won a Westminster parliamentary seat despite Farage's numerous personal expensive failures. The closest they came was with Mrs James in the recent Eastleigh by election. She was chosen in the Tory style by the local party allegedly against Farage's wishes. Note how Mrs James appears only at no 3 on the SE UKIP slate. In 2009 Andreasen, a non-UK national, but highly favoured by Farage at that time, went on as no 2. Ah you say but that was the vote of the members. Indeed but Andreasen and in the SW Legge was given far more local party publicity than the other candidates but that is the EU/BBC way. Voters are easy to manipulate if you control the publicity conduit! But Mr Farage as Abe Lincoln said you can't fool all of the people all of the time or in your case any of the time.

Home truths on QE

I see my old boss in the BoE given a big goodbye spread in today's Sunday Telegraph , front page headline, "Economic recovery proves QE working says Paul Tucker". It proves nothing of the sort. There would have been an economic recovery without QE. There always has been in the past and like the tide economies rise after a fall. Tim Congdon is another who makes this sort of claim about QE. Well as rabid proponents of money printing thay would has to say that.  It does not make it true.

It was good to read Tucker has acquired a Belgian wife, a new addition since my days in the BoE, and I wish them both well at Harvard.

So what if anything has QE achieved? Claire Jones wrote a good piece in yesterday's FT headlined, "Did QE only boost the price of Warhols?", which I borrow heavily from. When an economy turns down central banks cut interest rates to encourage people to spend money. When you get to zero and the economy is still flat lining what do you do? Easy you just print more money which you either drop by helicopter as Greenspan once suggested or lend to the banks secured by illiquid worthless collateral as under the BoE Act of 1861 the BoE cannot lend unsecured. The crap they are currently taking as collateral you would not wish to wipe your bum with.

So its perfectly obvious that QE has pumped up asset price bubbles in housing, land, fine wine and paintings. In short anything that is in short supply and marketable.

Who has benefitted. Those who already own assets usually called the rich, Dave and Gideon's chums. Who has lost? The young seeking to get on the housing ladder. The old who have seen the income on their savings dwindle. The current crop of retirees who cannot buy a decent pension or annuity with their pension pot as QE has pushed interest rates on gilts down and down inexorably.

QE must end as all things come to an end. Even the rumour of the US stopping QE was sufficient to raise 10 year US bond rates by 1%. So when interest rates have to go up it will be hard on those sucked into buying houses which they need to live in at inflated prices. Its a bad time to be young in the UK!

Unless Mark Carney is the second coming he will be able to do nothing except collect his huge inflated salary. He is one of the few winners.

Home truths on immigration

Seventy percent of immigrants into the UK come from the EU. As long as we are in the EU we cannot stop these people coming to the UK to live and work. We can however change our benefit rules to stop these immigrants claiming benefits health care etc which are available to the indigenous population which immigrants have not paid into but you have to do this whilst obeying EU rules. The French show how to do this but it involves a rewriting of our benefits rules along French lines which roughly are if you have not paid in you don't get, social housing, dole, health care etc. If however you simply discriminate on the grounds of nationality as the UK government you are in breach of  EU rules. Cast Iron Dave can huff and puff for public consumption but he wellknows he will lose. If you are in a club you use the rules to get what you want. If you ignore the rules you won't get what you want but you will suffer endless humiliation at the hands of the European court.

The remaing thirty percent coming from outside the EU we can refuse entry to those we don't want and take those we do. Those coming know this and the unwanted, the great majority, claim they are asylum seekers. There are different rules for asylum seekers but if they are not found after due process to be genuine then they are asked to leave. The problem is they don't!

On last Sunday's Politics Show, West region, we had the incredible sight of a failed asylum seeker who had had 5 appeals heard and rejected appearing with the immigration minister Mark Harper. All Mr Harper coould do was to ask him to leave!

It is an endemic problem in the UK. We have rules and regulations but we don't enforce them. This is what happened with bankers. If the banking  regualatory authorities had applied the rules there would have never been such a huge banking crisis. For why? Lack of political support. Politicians wanting money from bankers.

If it is not the business of the immigration minister to enforce the rules on illegal failed asylum seekers continuing to live in the UK whose business is it?

For why? Sordid politicians wanting ethnic votes.

That is the core problem in the UK. Politicians make .rules but won't enforce them. They treat rules as political promises, to be forgotten when they are no longer convenient.

UKIP's fatally flawed strategy

Farage's self serving strategy is to concentrate UKIP's effort and resources on the 2014 European elections for the EU red herring, pointless powerless useless parliament. This will ensure about one million Euros in the back pocket of every UKIP nominee selected by Farage. That's all the Farage plan can achieve but it does come with a huge downside for those of us who want get our country back for our children.

It does not matter how many MEPs UKIP gets they cannot free our country. The power to do that resides solely at Westminster with MPs who will be elected in June 2015. Let us be generous to Farage and say UKIP wins 40% of the vote in the Europeans. That will make UKIP the biggest party on share of the vote and would push the Tories into 3rd place with Labour 2nd. The turnout will be around 25% at best. UKIP's will be clearly seen as a protest vote aimed at giving LibLabCon a good kicking

This will however result in something like 30 UKIP MEPs. Great until you look at who these people are likely to be. There's more than one Godfrey Bloom in UKIP or as Warren Buffet frequently says, "There is never just one cockroach in the kitchen." These heirs to Bloom will be paraded up and down the land by the pro EU BBC and shown wading into the brown stuff week in week out until the General Election campaign starts in earnest. Great propaganda for the EU philes.

The Tory dish UKIP message  will be vote UKIP get Labour. Look what happened in the Europeans and by the way look at the idiots UKIP have cue lots more of heir to Bloom TV footage repeated ad nausem. Do you really want to vote for these clowns and let Labour in? Red Ed will of course be helping with his back to the 70s version of Socialism.

Thus the better UKIP does in the Europeans the more MEP heirs to Bloom there will be running around the TV studios when they should be keeping their heads down and cleaning behing their fridge. The LibLab spin machine will also be running this cycle rubbishing UKIP. UKIP does have some members able to hold their own in TV dates but hardly any are on UKIP slates as they do not have the Farage seal of approval. The LabCon campaign will wipe the floor with those elected.

So the bigger the UKIP vote in 2014 elections that don't matter the better it will be for the Tories in 2015 in the election that does matter. I still think Labour will win an overall Westminster majority with a well merited collapse in the LibDem vote and MP numbers. It will be back to good old fashioned two party politics. The vestigeal LibDems BBC friends will ensure they will still remain well represnted on QT etc. These will be seasoned with some UKIP MEP heirs to Bloom to ram home the fruit cakes and loony message. And what of UKIP MPs? Don't be silly there won't be any and there won't be any in/out referendum either.

Who wants to be a UKIP millionaire?

Its dead easy. You don't have to phone a friend or ask the audience, just suck up to Nigel at all times. To parody Nelson's advice, no waanabee UKIP millionaire (MEP) can go far wrong if he sucks up to Nigel and repeats and supports the Fuhrer spiel. This ensures your place on the UKIP MEP slate and a guaranteed 1 million pounds over 5 years from the EU!

Look at how this simple recipe worked for Legge, Agnew, Bannerman, Bloom, Nuttall and Clarke. Look at what happened to those who forgot this simple rule, Nikki, Natrass, Andreasen. Consigned to the outer darkness and cut off from the lovely EU lolly.

No talent? No problem! Lacking in intelligence? Not a handicap as Napoleon pointed out and as several current UKIP MEPs prove. Don't want to leave the EU? Not important! Just do what the Fuhrer orders and enjoy the EU benefits. Old Tory? No problem. Marched through quiet Sussex villages late at night chanting Nazi slogans and singing  the Horst Wessel song. Just youthful high spirits. Perfectly excusable.

Have principles? Seek another career. Have moral problems about associating with mid European neo Nazis? Seek another career. You are obviously not cut out to be a UKIP millionaire. Leave it to those with flexible moral postions and a real love of money!

Wednesday 9 October 2013

Edinburgh, my multi-cultural city, and Peter Higgs.

In October 1962 I first met Peter Higgs when he gave the first year, first term course in Mathematical Physics to me and about 100 17/18 year olds. The Xmas term exam was devastating. I got 20% which placed me in the upper decile. The top mark was 32%. I was delighted to read today that he has been awarded the Nobel prize for Physics. What makes me really proud is that Peter Higgs was English. The first Edinburgh  professor of mathematical physics from 1936 to 1953 also got the Nobel prize for in 1954. He was a German Jew called Max Born.

Why am I proud? Because it gives the lie to the allegation that Scots are parochial and nationalistic. Scotland has always welcomed talent from any country and will continue to do so if it becomes independent. All the Scottish universities recruit solely on talent, both staff and students.

The latter sets it apart from Oxford and Cambridge. Both are great universities with much more money than Edinburgh but are in hock to the English class system in their student intake. Over 50% are from public schools, eg William Legge, Eton & Oxford  UKIP MEP, with an additional 10% plus intake of rich Johnny Foreigners. That leaves less than half for the remaining 95% of the UK populace. So much for equality of opportunity.

J K Rowling, born in England, wrote her Harry Potter books in Edinburgh and now lives there. She is pictured in today's DT meeting Princess Anne opening a clinic at Edinburgh University for MS which killed her mother. Note that whilst JKR is lightly dressesd Princess Anne is wearing gloves. For why? She cannot bear to be touched by ordinary people like the talented Ms Rowling, that's why. Says a lot about the Royals the apex of the class system.

Finally I am alive today thanks to the TB treatment I received in 1957 from Prof John Crofton and his team, Dean of Edinburgh medical school and president of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. He was Anglo Irish and educated in Kent and London. He lived and worked in Edinburgh for over 50 years.

Scotland believes in talent and equality of opportunity. That's why the US founding fathers based their Declaration of Independence on the Scottish Declaration of Arbroath, 1420. I hope Scotland votes for independence.

Adam Smith, founder of much of modern economics made his reputation by giving a series of lectures at Edinburgh but was appointed Professor at Glasgow where he had done his first degree before winning a scholarship to Balliol College, Oxford. He was scathing about Oxford. I quote from Wikepedia,

In Book V of The Wealth of Nations, Smith comments on the low quality of instruction and the meager intellectual activity atEnglish universities, when compared to their Scottish counterparts. He attributes this both to the rich endowments of the colleges at Oxford and Cambridge, which made the income of professors independent of their ability to attract students, and to the fact that distinguished men of letters could make an even more comfortable living as ministers of the Church of England.[

Adam Smith was Professor of Political Economy. He thought you could not sensibly seperate the two. Its sad to see his view hi-jacked by Oxford with its politicians O level course, PPE. Presumably the Philosophy part was added to satisfy the likes of Ralph Milliband has his fellow travellers

Has anything really changed? Compare Andrew Neil, Paisley Grammar and Glasgow, with Jeremy Paxman, Malvern and Cambridge. One is polite and does his homework the other does not.

UKIP MEP members slate published

Click on http://www.trendingcentral.com/ukip-announces-final-mep-candidates-list/

to read it as reported on the web. The interesting thing will be to compare it with the post Farage list that goes to the electoral commission immediately prior to the election in 2014.

I am pleased for Julia Reid, no2 on the SW list. She will be a credit to UKIP.

As for Jill Seymour, no1 on the West Midlands list she will be as much use as a chocolate teapot.

All in not an inspiring collection so no threat to Nigel unless Mrs James, no 3 in the South East remains on the actual election list.

Bloom will be back as a UKIP MEP

Any one who watched Bloom's cringe worthy interview with Andrew Neil can be in no doubt Bloom will soon be rehabilitated back into the bosom of UKIP. He is a FoF, friend of Farage, which ensures his permenance in the  UKIP hierarchy. The more cynical might say he knows where the bodies are buried behind the fridge and is therefore unsackable. As Arnie says at the end of Terminator, "I'll be back"!

It was high comedy to see Godders on TV being dragged away from the Crick lead media pack by Annabelle Fuller, FbF, of whom I have written before. Following the leaking of candidate personal confidential material on the web Whittaker then UKIP chairman and MEP assured the NEC that she was personna non grata in UKIP forever. Strange how the media surrounding Godders were describing her as UKIP press officer. Another case of FoF je crois. Ms Fuller must also know where the bodies are. Maybe she will one day reveal all in our great free press.

I did like the Times front page below,

Does it allude to the gent below I wonder? If so I prefer the black and white original with its clear message,

Ein Volk, Ein Reich, Ein Fuhrer.

Godders, I am sure Eva cleaned behind her fridge.

PS

I forgot to mention that other FoF, Gawain Towler allegedly now UKIP's chief spin doctor. He was voted off the UKIP SW MEP slate following a damaging post on the web. There was a long discussion of this during which I recused myself and a vote taken to remove Towler from the slate. That decision was reversed on Farage's instructions at the subsequent NEC by him and his placemen..

Thats what Farage means by a democratic party. UKIP Democratic decisions procedures and elected representatives can be reversed and removed to benefit his friends.
