Godders hits back at Farage's attack on ordinary UKIP members

Click http://www.politics.co.uk/news/2014/01/31/the-pale-blue-party-godfrey-bloom-hits-back-at-farage-s-driv

to read this riposte to Farage. Its a good piece. I am warming to Godders since his split from Farage:

Godfrey Bloom warns Ukip could be turning into an imitation of the Tory party

Farage is riding for a fall. Click on link to call Clegg to see how the Lib Dems are profiting from Farage's stupidity.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=nQcVdgJzea4

The relevant call is about 10 minutes into the tape. Clegg was able to brush off a UKIP supporter by simply refering him to Farage's denouncing of the 2010 manifesto and decent honest hard working UKIP members.

The FT has pointed out that many of UKIP's candidates have previous as UKIP  political bum lickers something the fruit cakes will not do. Click below to read:

Oh Mr Farage your on the hoof errors are catching up with you! Pity the poor UKIP footsoldiers who will pay the price. It will be 1914 all over again with Nigel stariing as General Hogmanay Melchett. Memo to Nigel, it was Baldrick who got his bum on the red leather.

Carney is now Osborne's creature

My old boss, Paul Tucker, did not get the BoE Governor's job instead it went to a Canuck Carney whom Osborne wanted and was given an inside track into Threadneedle Street. Carney was up in my home city Edinburgh yesterday where he gave an avowedly apolitical speech on the financial effects of a Scottish vote for independence this September. It was in fact a highly political speech shrouded in econ-speak rattling the spectre of Scotland turning into another Greece in a sterling currency union. Mentioning the Euro so frequently is a blatant scare tactic of which his master Osborne would be proud.

Why should Carney a very good economist give such a nakedly partisan speech cloaked in the guise of economics? It is a tactic we will see again if we every get a vote on leaving the EU and it was the tactic used by the EU philes in Wislon's 1975 fake referendum. Carney is a very ambititious man and like all such men has his eye on his next job. Once one has been governor of the BoE what else is there? Two jobs spring to mind, head of the IMF and head of the World Bank. The former is traditionally a Europe appointment and the latter a US appointment since its inception in 1944. If Carney gets PM Osborne's blessing he would be a shoo in when Madame Lagarde or her sucessor moves on. There has never been a British head of the IMF.

It is my old boss in HMG used to say, give  me an ambititious man who wants what is in my gift. They are so easy to control like Farage and his desire to feel red leather on his buttocks.

In truth the Scottish and EU vote has little to do with economics. It is about which group rules. In Scotland it is a choice between native Scots, born, bred , state educated, living and working in Scotland or the Southern English public school/Haverstock comp Oxford PPE educated ruling class living in the best parts of central London, Hampstead, Primrose Hill, Islington, Notting Hill, Holland Park etc. No contest for any sane person.

It will be the same in the EU vote, a grande ecole elite living in Brussels and controlling the BBC or the natives with the Daily Express & Daily Mail. The economics particularly the loss of n million jobs will be wheeled out to confuse the issue just like MacMillan's Tories used to wheel out a machine called the Manningham Buller when waters needed to be muddied. It is a debate about who runs our country, us or the milatiristic Franco Prussians who have a history of wars every 50 years for the last 350 years. The choice is so obvious that no vote will be needed so you won't be given one. Vive l'Empire! Elites start wars to slaughter the plebs from time to time and hence keep them under control.

Niall Ferguson wrote an excellent piece pointing out how disastrously bad our decision to go to war in a state of unpreparednees was in 1914 and broke this country for ever. Who are making these decisions today in the UK? Why the same born to rule people of the political diplomatic elite now in their 4th or 5th generation. None more so than professional leftist politicians like Vera Brittan's daughter Shirley.

Read Kipling's poem Tommy Atkins, nothing has changed.

Now Farage slags off hard working UKIP members

The headline in today's Times, "Farge, we have the wrong sort of people in UKIP". Farage should no he put many of these fantasists into key partyy positions. I was shocked. As the Times is not online I link to the Independent.below.

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/nigel-farage-vows-to-crack-down-on-ukips-walter-mitty-candidates-following-embarrassment-of-david-silvester-comments-9089306.html

Farge says there are too many Walter Mitty fantasists in UKIP. What is the difference between a Walter Mitty fantasist and a fruitcake loony? Answer there is no difference. Farage uses one and Cameron the other. They are both saying the same thing. Farage agrees with Cameron to get his bum on the red leather.

Poor old UKIP members. They have been fooled and used by Farage who will ditch them when Cameron says jump. I don't now expect Farage to lead UKIP in the 2015 General Election. He will stand down at the last minute pleading his heavy workload in Brussels. He will leave a poisoned challice for his successor just like lasr time, Let us hope the new leader reads the manifesto unlike Pearson last time. I look forward to seeing the leadership contenders.

Farage is imploding

Farage's statements & actions are becoming increasingly bizarre. He is behaving more and more like a celeb out for a quick laugh than a leader of a political. But then UKIP is not a political party its a Farage cult and fan club so political party norms do not apply or so he thinks.  Sorry Farage you have to make up your mind, full time celeb or serious politician.

His comments on the last UKIP maifesto having been written by an idiot could be true. This would make UKIP a political laughing stock in normal times. But we live in strange times where all three main parties are led by a self perpetuating juvenile political elite who largely went to the same two universities and many of whomm did the same course, PPE at Oxford. They are on that count out of touch with 99.9% of the British electorate as they are with their Europhile views. The EU is a political wonderland invented by professional politicians, for professional politicians to dream their dreams and be hugely well paid and feted. Best of all like heaven there is a gatekeeper, the hydra political establishment to keep ordinary mortals out so these gods of the EU can dream their Olympian dreams but like Zeus descend to Earth  to fertilise a few very attractive earthbound women when the urge takes them.

The person who wrote the last UKIP manifesto was Bannerman. On my first attendance at UKIP's NEC he made me privy to some of his great ideas. He was most upset when I pointed out these 'ideas' were simply a rehash of very failed party manifesto over the last 20 years. Bannerman did have his uses for Farage, a true Lenin style uesful idiot. He it was who formulated the charges against me so Farage and Nuttall led sycophants could kick me off the NEC to which I had recently been democratically elected. Nigel, as was pointed out on a recent A Neil politics show does not have a dictionary that includes the word democracy.

Farage does a good stand up comedy act click below for his latest effort on weather forecasting.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-25901814

This ranks alongside his bank clerk sketch in Brussels with Rumpy. The last politician to get involved with weather forecasting was Lembit Opik, a LibDem embarassment until Huhne, Rennard and Hancock came along.

It is clear however that the media are slowly cottoning on to Farage's make it up as I go along and deny everything embarassing like the UKIP web site tactics. He clearly has not learned that web siteis were how Obama got elected but then Nigel has never been elected in his own name for anything in a public vote. I discount the EUKIP cult vote.

How many people want hand guns legalised in this country Nigel? How many don't? How many people want Grammar schools back? How many don't?

Look at what Andrew Neil did to him last Thursday

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-25867585

Then look at what Louise Cooper did to him on the same show

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-25864177

Louise Cooper is well known in the City. I never met anyone who knew NIgel Farage.

There's more than one idiot in UKIP it seems Mr Farage. The sooner UKIP gets O'Flynn in as leader the better.

Farage wants to go to the Lords. That is the unelected, EU loving establishment that have just blocked the private members EU referendum bill. Its the unelected bit that appeals to Farage and the prospect of joining the establishment is what he has coveted these last 20 years.

Lib Dems get Tory sex scandal disease. What will UKIP develop?

The accepted wisdom for many years is that Tories have sex scandals like Profumo and  the Duke of Welllington and Labour has money scandals like the Bernie Ecclestone donation. The Lib Dems are a comparitively new party but seem to have contracted a bad case of sex scandal virus with Lord Rennard and Mike Hancock MP for Portsmouth. As both arose before the coalition they obviously could not have contracted it from their Tory bedfellows.

The old Liberal party has a rich history of scandals, in the 1890s there was the Liberator Building Socoiety scandal that forced one of their MPs. Jabez Balfour forced to flee the country to Argentina. Sometimes it was cross party as in the 1970s  with corrupt architect John Poulson and links to Conservative Home Secretary Reginald Maudling, Labour council leader T. Dan Smith and others (1972-4): Maudling resigned, Smith sentenced to imprisonment.

In the 90s David Mellor resigned after press disclosure of his affair with Antonia de Sancha and gratis holiday from a daughter of a PLO official (1992). It did boost the sales of Chelsea strips however.

Then of course was the Daddy of them all Llyod George who managed to combine both sex and financial scandals together.

UKIP possibly helped by its geriatric age profile of its members is unlikely to figure high in the sex scandal league tables although as Farage brings in his YI youth this may change. Allegations of financial impropriety have been for over 10 years so UKIP may be more like the abour party.

UKIP have chosen one John Bickley, a local middle aged businessman as their parliamentary candidate for Wythenshawe and Sale. http://www.ukip.org/johnbickley

He seems to me to be prima facie a very good candidate similar to Diane James in Eastleigh. I hope he enjoys as god a result as Mrs James. He looks to me as a local party choice much better than Nuttall or his associates. If this continues and Nuttall stays out of it there is hope. It is to much to hope Farage will keep a low profile although in my opinion it would be better for Mr Bickley's electoral channces.

Who are Farage's 5 Barmy MEPs?

ukip

Is this one of them? Are they not still in Oz with the barmy army?

I am proud of the LibDems in their pursuit of democracy. Menzies Campbell was very good today taking the piss out of leading Faragista Reeve, aka Mr Duffy. As Menzies said democracy is not a word that occurs in Fagage's dictionary. Reeve peddled the tired worn Farage line about UKIP being the most democratc UK party but dear old Ming just gave a knowing grin. Farage & Reeve are not fooling anybody serious.

I suspect the 5 on the hit list are those we already know are not standing again for UKIP Tory candidates Bannerman & Andreasen, Bloom who may have seen the light not shining from Nigel's rear quarters recently, Colman, Bufton and Clarke on grounds of ill health/ age, and Sinclaire and  Natrass on grounds of total incompatibility with NF. Not many left and  I suspect of these NF would like to ditch Legge, Agnew and Batten leaving only himself and comrade Nuttall and PN has been a bit off message recently.

You can't trust anyone can you Nige.

Macmillan's night of the long knives has nothing on Nigel but for sure you cannot run a serious political party with this scale of losses amongst your officer corps.

Farage orders another UKIP purge!

I have lost count of the number of fruit cake and loony UKIP expulsion purges Farage has ordered. All I know is that none have worked and that  I, a staunch supporter in public and private of UKIP policy and  was purged and the fruitcakes and loonies  kept. Del and David suffered the same fate. Our crime was to stand up to Farage on issues of party governance.

Farage welcomes with open arms Tory party misfits  like Mr Silvester, after all Farage is one himself. I have repeatedly urged him to be cautitious of these people, Bannerman and now Silvester and Andreasen who has now gone back to the Tories.

Faage rivals Joe Stalin in the number of his purges! The people who should be purged are the Cabal.

More worrying is the shenanigans on the selection of a candidate to fight the forthcoming Wythenshawe and Sale by-election reported by Mandrake in Friday's Telegraph. The local party chairman has been bannned by UKIP from organising a candidate selection meeting  Comrade Nuttall is rumoured to be putting his own name forward or his close friend Louise Bours. There are several branch resignations as a result of this national takeover. Nuttall was of course not the first choice of UKIP NW on the MEP slate. THe first choice candidate, Beaman stood down in after being selected as number one. Jigggery pokery with UKIP candidates is no new thing.

Comrade Nuttall is what is known in Manc as a scouse scally. The don't like Scousers in Manc and the UK public are not generally appreciative of a Scouse accent. They identify it with hard left activists like Degsy Hatton. Comrade Nuttall should perhaps take a few elocution lessons and try to sound like Nadine Dorries MP who also comes from Liverpool. Its unpleasant but that is how politics works. Even the divine Margaret needed a few elocution less to succeed. If  Henry Higgins is reading this will he please contact N Farage asap.

The are lots more Mr Silvesters standing as UKIP candidates and I look forward to reading their utterances in the national press. I hear that TV are commissioning investigations into UKIP's lack of governance. Lord Rennard and the Lib Dems have given them the smell of blood.

What UKIP can learn from the LibDems

I have no doubt Clegg wants Chris Rennard to disapear from the LibDem universe. Cartoons like the one below in Guido do the LibDem's image great  harm.

particularly when juxtaposed with the Clegg 2012 quotes on sexual impropriety  Guido used :

On ITV’s The Agenda:
“Serious questions need to be asked and if after we find out what’s happened, it’s clear that people have turned a blind eye or, worse still, connived with it, then of course they’re going to have to be held to account and – if that turns out to be the case – heads will need to roll of course.”
Here is is that same month, asking all the right questions on 5Live:
“I have been thinking about this a lot, because I cannot understand how this could have remained hidden for so long. There just must have been so many people who knew what was going on …and I just keep asking myself why, why did this remain buried for so long?”

Now of course this was Clegg commenting on sex allegations against Jimmy Savile, rather than the entirely unconnected matter of Lord Rennard that blew up three months later.

Today Clegg was on LBC's Call  Clegg Nick had a torrid time. Click on link below to listen to his words'

I dislike Clegg but UKIP should note his emphsis on the burden of proof, the need for independent inquiry, sticking to due process  and that he as leader cannot simply kick someone out and must avoid  kangaroo courts. UKIP have no idea of due process and use kangaroo courts at the drop of a hat. They should learn from the LibDems. Proper political parties stick to their rules, due process and the rules of natural justice. What UKIP has done on in Lincolnshire to Chris Pain and others is an afront to our British sense of justice and playing by the rules. It will come back to haunt the Caball

UKIP better learn to play by the rules if they want to be taken seriously and not as a bunch of carpetbaggers.

I cannot resist linking to the Telegraph's five to tips for UKIP.

Pearson's classic is still unbelievable.

What lessons can Farage learn from Hollande?

Wear a crash helmet if visiting a lady who is not your wife.

Its a jolly good disguise but also protects one from the domestic rolling pin attack that this type of behaviour can attract.

I also seem to recollect alleged tales of Mrs Farage some years ago at a UKIP event on HMS Belfast searching the WWII cruiser from stem to stern. Who or what was she looking for?

Pinochio Clegg gets a 20 minute party political from Marr

Marr typifies the smug conceit of the self satisfied, left wing BBC liberal elite. Today he gave Clegg 20 minutes to rabbit on unchallenged to justify any of his so called facts which are simply scaremongering fictions designed to panic the electorate about the dangers iof leaving the EU. This has been the LibDem tactics ever since Wislon's non-referendum in 1975 when Shirley Williams darling of the left frm the most priveleged back ground peddled the same lies to great effect.

The hoary old chesnut that 3 milllion UK jobs will be lost if we leave the EU. Complete tripe! I have never seen any rational argument to substantiate that figure. As always it is produced as a self evident 'truth' but it is of course a propaganda lie. I remember request after request being made to the government in the period 1971 to 75 for a proper cost benefit analysis to be made of our  Common Market entry. That was batted away with the bland assertion that such a study was unecessary as the benefits of Common Market were self evident. Not so. The benefits were negative then and are more negative today. The LibDems are big on assetion but very short on fact.

Listen to his garbage for yourself

It starts about 40 mins into the prgrammme.

Marr never asked Clegg to support a single one of his assetions with fact. Instead he allowed Clegg was allowed to depict UKIP as inward facing idiots when the exact opposite is the truth. UKIP stands for widening UK trade links outside the EU.

We traded with Europe long before the EU was ever invented. The only time we did not was when the precursor of the EU, Napoleon's Continental system tried to shut us out of European trade. That failed doing more damage to France and continental Europe than to the UK and after Waterloo it was back to business as usual. Thank God trade depends on economic facts not politicians or self seeking businessmen who speak for no one but themselves.

He used the emotive lie pull up the drawbridge but could not name a single business that has said it would shut down its plant in the UK if we left the EU.

Its these lies we have to combat from a man who signed a pledge that he would have no part in increasing student fees and as soon as he got into power did just that!

Farage has to win this argument but to do so he needs a party of all the talents not what he currently has a party of self seeking. venal, sycophants.

UKIP is not the only anti EU vehicle

I want to see the UK leave the EU asap. I do not care how this happens. In particular I do not care which political party or politician brings it about. Anyone who wants us to leave the EU is my ally. Last night I Katie Hopkins, a Nikki Sinclaire associate,  on the Andrew Neil show dismantling labour MP and EU supporter Diane Abbott. I dont like Ms Hopkins but it was an impressive performance.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b03pml84/This_Week_09_01_2014/

I recently watched Mr Farage on the pathetic much hyped Nick Robinson programme on immigration emphasing the importance of social cohesion over simplistic economic statistics. That needed saying and I applaud Farage for saying it.

Alan Sked is I gather setting up a centre left leave the EU party which I also applaud.

Obviously it would be better if all could live in one anti-EU party but Mr Farage's divisive personality makes this difficult. The sort of people Farage has put into important party positions and high MEP slots compounds this. I thought Nuttall's performance on last night's QT was pathetic. It was left to Nadine Dorries, a Tory MP, to put the anti-EU case!

As I write I am listening to Mr O'Flynn UKIP's new comms director on Any Questions. He seems to be competent and able but what about Jill Seymour, Stuart Agnew etc? Farage will be doing a lot of fire fighting methinks.

This is a tragedy for all of us who want our country back for our children.

Farage kebabed by Humphrys

I woke this morning, switched on my radio to hear a familiar voice.

http://downloads.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/radio4/today/today_20140107-1202a.mp3

In the words of the Welsh windbag Farage was being  slowly roasted like a kebab with frequent turns by the grand  inquisitor himself. Enough to put me off my Scott's porage oats.

I did like Farage's sound bite to Robinson which will go out tonight on BBC2 at 9:30 grandly entitled "The truth about immigration". As John Fowles wrote in his book The Magus, "What is truth?" When asked about the reduction in GDP reducing immigration would have Farage replied that there were more important things for a country than GDP growth and he did not want to live in a UK of 75 million population. Thast needed saying and I applaud him for it. The wealth of a nation depends on per capita GDP growth not simple GDP growth. Admit more people and let them collet benefits and GDP will increase but the rest of us will be poorer.

Onto Daily Politics with the nasty Jo Co interrogating UKIP's Aker on UKIP's latest immigration policy, along with Charlie, make mine a double Kennedy, and the Reckless Tory. I have not met Mr Aker. Is he related to Acker Bilk? Anyway I thought Mr Aker did OK. Click below to view:

Farage gets lots of TV time and O'Flynn

Its  all happen ing for EUKIP. They have a new Director of Comms, Mr O'Flynn who was a Daily Express journo and lead UKIP MEP candidate for the Eastern region. What has become of Mr Towler? Has he been cast aside by the Fuerher? All announced with a big splash. For Mr O'Flynn its a no brainer. He is now unassailable or should I say unremovable as numer uno on the UKIP MEP slate so will receive around 1 million Euros of EU largesse over the next 5 years.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Z1Dc6l6RdME

I wish Mr O'Flynn good luck.

The Tory tactics against UKIP are now very clear. Listen to Tory MP Loughton at the start and end of today's Daily Politics.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b03pjd23/Daily_Politics_06_01_2014/

Get the strategy? Go for the UKIP candidates who are dodgy characters. There are plenty to choose from.

Nigel is riding the wave right now. Will he still be smirking when the wave breaks on the dodgy rocks, as all waves do, and he wipes out. My money will then be on P O'Flynn.

Farage shifts position on EU exit on Sky’s Murnaghan show, 5th Jan 2014

Most of the interest focussed on when the Ukip leader was read excerpts from the Powell 1968 rivers of blood speech without being told the origin of the comments and nodded along. He then had to state he agreed with the underlying premise of the speech. Nothing new there!

What was new was Farage stating that a country could not control immigration as a full member of the EU.  Clearly Farage is preparing to retreat from UKIP's unconditional full withdrawal from the EU core policy to some unspecified associate status a bit like the devo lite proposal for Scottish Independence which Cameron could not countenance. Barosso will do likewise to Farage's on the hoof proposal.

Another example of Farage trying to make up policy for a cheap short term sound bite. The only thing bitten will be Farage's delicate parts.
