Farage, UKIP's Sepp Blatter

There is a striking similarity between Farage's frequent re-elections as leader of UKIP and Blatter's frequent relection's as FIFA president. Both dominate their respective organisations by controlling their payroll vote. In Blatter's case its the executive committees of a host of small poor football asssociations and in Farage's case a group of talentless MEPs totally dependent on Farage's patronage to get on the EU gravy train. Each MEP  comes with their group of hangers on who want to get on the gravy train themselves. That amounts to a payroll vote of around 200 that control sufficient local branches plus dominate the speaking schedule at all UKIP events.

The talented members of UKIP who can speak well are never seen by the membership so when the vote for the leader comes round no one has really seen the other candidates. Sure they may get to speak at a hustings attended by around 200 members in total out of the UKIP membership of 20000 plus.

UKIP is a joke Farage cult. Guy Verhofstadt,  a Belgian MEP and frequent butt of Farage's infantile rants in the European parliament summed it up beautifully. Farage submits a resignation as leader which he himself rejects and then sits in on the subsequent discusiion to ask himself to come back as leader. Not even Sepp Blatter has done that! Blatter has however read the Farage book of excuses when asked about embarassing underlyings. This is a big organisation and I cannot be expected to know everything that goes on. The culture is something that leader sets and hence is responsible for. Thats where the sleaze comes from in all organisations.

We don't have an FBI but I live in hope that the UK authorities will one day investigate UKIP but it won't be done to FBI standards.

The EU is our biggest market lie

At best a half truth or half lie depending on the view you take.

The latest figures below from HMRC over the last two years tell the truth

Each month we import goods worth around 6 billion sterling than we export. Over a year that comes to £72 billion. That means we are exporting millions of high skilled jobs to the EU, jobs that are our children's birthright and which we should be training them to do. Worse these jobs are being stripped out of the manufacturing areas of the UK, the North and the Midlands the poorest parts of our country. The service sector which runs a smaller difficult to estimate surplus is of course concentrated in London and the South East. So being in the EU shows Gideon's Northern powerhouse as pure pie in the sky.

The breakdown by country of our trade deficit is instructive

No wonder the Eurocrats want the UK to stay in. As well as paying the bills we also provide jobs for Johnny EU Foreigner.

Time to nail the big market lie. Yes it is a big market but it benefits Johnny Foreigner not us. Thats why when we leave Merkel, Hollande etc will be beating a path to No 10 to sign trade deals with us!

PS latest figures published by Sky's Ed Conway shows how our exports to the EU are collapsing and those to the rest of the world growing. Game set and match to the get out campaign.

Stuart Wheeler says Farage cannot be any where near the Out referendum campaign

Click here to read Stuart Wheeler agreeing with every thing I and numerous others have said about Farage's limited electoral appeal:

http://www.spectator.co.uk/features/9533982/nigel-farage-cannot-lead-the-out-campaign/

This was obvious since the first day I met Farage some 8 years ago. He is toxic to any referendum campaign seeking over 50% of the vote. Wheeler is a realist pointing out he was forced out of IGIndex, the spread betting company he founded since when the company has gone from strength to strength. The same  won't hold or UKIP as Farage has got rid of all his strong UKIP successors but this does not matter as UKIP has gone as far as it can. Its the refendum now that maaters and that needs more better people than UKIP has. Thats the parallel with IGIndex.

Tuesday 26 May 2015

We must nail the EU trade lies every time they are trotted out.

I can remember Mrs Williams in 1972  peddling the umpteen million UK jobs will be lost if we don't join the common market lie. The same factually unsupported figures have been trotted out regularly ever since. Tellingly they were used during the we must join the Euro campaign in the 1990s. We did not join and guess what happened? The UK prospered as we have over thousands of years from our trade with Europe going back 5000 years to Skarra Brae in Neolithic times. Trade is a result of human nature. We want somehing Johnny Foreigner has and he wants something we have hence we trade with each other.

The EU does not facilitate trade it hinders it! This brake on our prosperity is getting steadily worse.  Two stories in today's press illustrate the huge drag the EU is on our economy. Matt Lynn in an excellent piece in today's business DT makes this point on the huge disadvantage we are under by not being able to sign our own trade deals with the grrowing economies of the Pacific rim, the old Commonwealth and of course the USA. Only the EU can do that and their interests are protecting the German car industry and French agriculture. We have given away our Skarra Brae birthright to the French and Germans.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/comment/11629275/Australia-can-have-free-trade-with-the-US-so-why-cant-we.html

The piece is headlined, "Australia can have free trade with the US, so why can't we?

Good question. The answer is because we are in the EU. The Europhiles will say the EU is currently negotiating a trade deal with the US which will benefit all members equally. The truth is as in Animal Farm some members, France & Germany are more equal than others like the UK. These EU US negotiations have benn going on interminably and are bogged down in French & German perotectionism. That is why the Eurozone is stagnant whilst the rest of the world forges ahead. It has protectionism as its core belief. Our political and business elite for their own selfish ends have yoked us to this increasingly moribund grouping with no or flacid economic growth..

The atandard policy presciption of the EU to its members like Ireland who show some initiave is to mire them down with a so called levelling the playing field. This is what Hollande & Merkel are now cooking up with their 'initiative' to equalise corporation tax across the EU ie lets turn Ireland and the UK into another socialist quagmire like France.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/eu/11630468/France-and-Germany-behind-plans-for-common-EU-corporation-tax.html

Well why not? They have already crippled the City of London with their EU wide financial transaction tax. Not so much a level playing field but a bottomless swamp.

Cameron is a deatist. He believes in the EU. He is beaten begore he starts and us along with him.

O tempor, O mores as Cicero said.

Sunday 24 May 2015

Excellent point from Richard North

"As we point out elsewhere, those who are serious about winning this referendum are having to fight on three fronts. We have to deal with the underhanded lies of the pro-EU camp and also the brain-capsizing ineptitude of the Ukip. But there is also the selfish, self-absorbed right-wing think tank "aristocracy" who are neither use nor ornament."

I know a few of the latter group mainly arrogant economists with no idea how ordinary people live.

Cameron's talent is to choose good advisors and listen to them

Steve Hilton, Cameron's former guru has just has a book entitled More Human published. Hilton is an interestinh guy and was just too much for the Mandarins to take. He has an eclectic mix of views ranging from Green to anti-EU. He also had a temper which diod not go down well with the Civil Service.

His most interesting quote is to brilliantly describe the European Commission and European Parliament as, " a vast stinking cesspit of corporate corruption gussed up in the garb of idealistic internationalism". I could not have put it better myself confirmed by the procession of corporate fat cats we have bleating non stop now about what a the disaster it will be if we leave the EU . What they mean is how bad it would be for their bonus but who speaks for Joe Public for whom exit from the EU would be a huge benefit.

Lynton Crosby was of course a great pick by Dave but he was also smart enough to take the Wizard of Oz's advice to the extent of demoting his pal Gove from Education Secretary  to Chief whip. If you pick good people you have to back them even if your pals have to go.

Cam's latest pick is the dishy and clever Camilla Cavendish to head up the No 10 policy unit. She was a contemporary of Daves at BNC, on the same course PPE where she also got a first. Not all the best guys get a first, BoJo didn't but he did classics.

She was a top class journo for the Times and has strong Green credentials

In 2008 Cavendish won the Paul Foot award for campaigning journalism for her investigation into the practices of family courts dealing with child protection issues. She is a former trustee of Policy Exchange and a board member of the Care Quality Commission.

In another recent column, she concluded that Cameron should follow his instincts and look outside his party’s comfort zone for policy ideas: “Left to himself, Cameron’s instincts tend to be ecumenical. I would love to see him adopt Labour’s policies on non-doms and Lib Dem proposals to extend the upper bands of council tax.”

Another excellent choice by Cameron. Picking good people is Cameron's greates talent. Nobody ever accused Farage of that. Sycos only for Nigel.

Time to start the out campaign

We do not have much time left before Cameron comes back waving his sordid bit of paper saying peace in our time, I have renegotiated! It will of course all be a total sham but in the meantime the stay in lot are mobilising their FUD, Fear Uncerainty Doubt campaign.

Politicians love the EU it gives them power without really ever having to face the electorate and huge sums of money for MEPs to employ their Spads plus huge office staff for the bureaucrats and a well paid traing ground for the Cleggs, Huhnes, Kinnocks x 3 of this world. The only fly in the ointment right now is these pesky Greeks are not playing ball. Well they did invent democracy something the EU is tryng very hard to uninvent.

Another group that love the EU is a large chunk of UK big business. The EU provides them with unlimited cheap low skilled labour to boost their profits and bonuses. Who cares where these people and their wives and children live get educated get their health care its not on our companies P/L. As in Tom Leher's Wener von Braun song, "The rockets go up whoosh. Who cares where they come down? Its not my department."

So I was glad today to read Richard North's excellent blog,,

http://www.eureferendum.com/

Compulsory reading for those of us who want to get our country back. One gem a propos the stonking billion plus fines announced today on banks for rigging the Forex market. One of the biggest offfenders is Barclays deputy chairman one Mike Rake. Who is currently speaking non stop for the CBI to keep us in? That's right Mr Sir Rake. But as Richard points out to Rake we plebs are just the no ones he refers to, there to be ripped off by his dodgy Forex traders to increase their bonus and also of course Rake's at the same time.

The day before Richard wrote a brilliant piece on the CBI's misdirection tactics written as a Sun editorial. Its also on my link above but it's so good I quote extensively from it below.

"This is the Sun editorial I would like to see:

There are no benefits which we gain by virtue of UK membership of the EU that are not open to us through other means. Thus, the game played by the CBI is classic misdirection. The fat cats want to keep us focused on the wrong issues, fighting battles of their choosing so we can be defeated in detail.

In fact, this coming referendum is our chance to correct a historical error, where the British nation joined in a dangerous experiment in political integration in the mistaken belief that it would solve our problems at home and abroad.

With the passage of time, the magnitude of that error has become more and more apparent. And if final stages of integration – already on the drawing board - are allowed to unfold with Britain still a member of the EU, we will be trapped in a nightmare from which there is no escape.

It is vital, therefore, that we ignore CBI propaganda about "benefits". We must not engage on their choice of battlefield. The "benefits" they speak of are ours to enjoy in or out of the EU. And we are better off out. We need to focus on the real issues - our issues, not theirs. People need to know that the fate of their nation is at stake. We should not allow ourselves to be distracted by the self-serving corporate élites.

All the  fat cats are interested in is their "bottom line". They think they can keep more cash by sticking close to Brussels, with not the slightest concern for the welfare of the British people and their needs.

While they offshore their profits to the shadiest tax havens they can find, they weep crocodile tears about the dangers of leaving the EU. All they are actually doing is looking after their own interests. They will tell any number of lies to get their way, which is precisely what they are doing now.

They need to be told that how we the people choose to be governed is no business of theirs. No matter how big and important they think they are, no "fat cat" has any more votes than any other individual. It is what the people think that matters. Democracy, not corporate greed, is what matters.

We must define the issues in this referendum campaign – not the "fat cats" who are trying to distort to debate in order to line their pockets with our cash. They live happily with dictators and want a "rip-off Britain", knowing that pickings are easiest when democracy is weak. Our democracy must come before fat-cat pay-cheques and pension pots.

The fat cats need to mind their own business, and keep their grubby mitts out of our politics."

This is no new thing. Read Trollope on the battle the Liberal government had in the 1870s over Irish Tenant farmers rights and you will realise its the same thing. Landowners coercing their workers into voting to benefit their company  profits not themselves. Multi-nationals have replaced Tory landowners but its the same swindle perpretated on the plebs.

Even Alex Salmond on Newsnight rubbished the CBI line that the UK could not do well outside the EU. We would do very well.

We must guard against the same thing happening in the Out campaign. We do not want it taken over by the self appointed great and good no matter how much money they have. We need to connect with the great mass of the populus not the intellectual elite.

Farage is now irrelevant and is a laughing stock in the European  Parliament following his resigning unresigning saga. Worse UKIP is now seen there as the Farage cult it is..

Evans tries to set the record straight

La Evans was interviewed by the nice Victoria Derbyshire today on BBC TV. Click link below to see/hear

http://order-order.com/2015/05/20/sacked-suzanne-evans-ukip-blood-letting-a-coincidence/#_@/rlzNN9HQ345mVA

Poor Ms Evans she did write a decent manifesto. The 2010 one was written by the Tory traitor Bannerman who is now a well paid Tory MEP, At that time Bannerman was favoured by NF but after his abysmal manifesto Farage was quick to rubbish him. One thing for sure Cameron won't be asking Bannerman to write a manifesto or anything else for the Tories so Evans effort did not have a lot to beat, Ms Evans is not the first and won't be the last to fall from the fickle fuerher's favour. When you sup with Farage take a long spoon.

From my experience of NF O'Flynn told nothing more than the plain unvarnished truth about him. Gobby is I presume the exUKIP press officer who had to say what NF wanted him to say.

To be secure with Farage you almost have to sign an oath of unquestioning allegiance to him in your own blood as despots in the Middle Ages required. Its loyalty to NF not loyalty to UKIP that matters, The two are not the same.

I remember hearing Farge threatening to cut some poor UKIPPer off at the knees for disagreeing with him. I suppose I should be grateful I can still walk.

O'Flynn quits as UKIP economics spokesman, Evans out as policy chief

Reported by Guido Fawkes click below:

http://order-order.com/2015/05/19/patrick-oflynn-quits-role-and-tells-farage-im-sorry/#_@/rlzNN9HQ345mZg

O'Flynn has had enough of Nigel. He was along with Carswell a real UKIP asset but I don't think he will be back until Farage departs.

The Evans story broke later on Guido

http://order-order.com/2015/05/19/suzanne-evans-loses-policy-role/#_@/eF05U7m4Hi5mZA

It implies she was being well paid for her UKIP role but now the money has gone and she has to earn a crust.

Guido earlier put Reckless in the frame to replace Evans

http://order-order.com/2015/05/19/reckless-in-running-to-take-over-as-ukip-policy-chief/#_@/S3iuT9Hbwa5mZg

Another case of Mac the knife.

Farage is paranoid about plots against him

One of Farage's problems is he thinks everyone else thinks like him. He has fomented enough plots himself against the leadership when he was not the leader to believe that is what people are now doing to him hence the unscheduled NEC meeting callled yesterday at short notice. Trouble is his usual whipping boy, the BNP, is now defunct.so who can he point the finger at now.

Carswell better be careful about Evans. She owes everything to Farage and knows which side her bread is buttered. Everything she wants is in Farage's gift so he can control her. Carswell and O'Flynn are different. They are there on their own merits and Farage controls nothing that they want and in Carswell's case he controls the Short money that Farage wants.

Farage clearly has to go for the out side in the referendum to have any chance. But of course he won't go. Like Robert Mugabe he will cling on to power supported by his payroll vote as long as possible.

One prediction, Farage won't be taking a holiday any time soon. He knows what has happened to numerous African leaders who have been deposed whilst they have been out the country.

Farage does not look well to me.

Truth behind the unresigning starts to emerge

It is now clear that Evans, O'Flynn and Carswell want a more collegiate softer approach for Cameron's referendum and see Farage as a vote loser. Its not a plot only common sense. Needless to say Nigel does not see it that way and is trying to appear to be patching things up with UKIP's sole MP. Bad news Douglas, Farage neither forgives or forgets. You will soon be on the receiving end of a lot of political smears from anonymous sources so have your defences ready.

Evans, O'Flynn & Carswell are of course perfectly correct. To have any chance of securing an out vote Farage has to disappear, the sooner the better. UKIP is irrelevant only the referendum now matters. Lose that to the stay in brigade and even if UKIP win 50 seats in 2020 they will be powerless. The people will already have spoken. Farage has done his bit for UKIP and now must stand down for the greater good.

As I wrote yesterday the out campaign best chance is to secure the services of the Wizard of Oz asap. He was calling the shots for the Tories right down to telling Cameron to move/demote his mate Gove from Education 8 months before the election as he was 'toxic' for the Tory campaign. Cameron wisely deferred to his strategist and the rest is recent history.

So I say again if  you want to get out of the EU get Farage out, the Oz bloke in and do what he says. This is far to important to pander to Farage's ego and the cabal's bank balances. Cam will put him on the red leather if nothing nasty is found when the new regime takes over.  .

Referendum facts

To win the in/out Cameron referendum requres a 51% vote in favour of leaving the EU. Last year in Scotland the SNP under Alex Salmond backed by Nicola Sturgeon and a superb organisation could only get 45% and we all saw how Nicola trounced Cam, Mil and Cleggy in the General Election debate. It shows the  enormity of the task we face to get a leave the EU vote. LibLabCon are not scared of the referndum vote. As things stand they would win it 2 to 1.  Hence Burnham was quite happy today to call for an early referendum vote. This calls Farage's non-bluff like his non-resignation.

On 7th May UKIP won 12.6% of the national vote. To win the referendum they will have to quadruple that vote. That siimply cannot be done on UKIP votes. You need to attract millions of voters who voted LibLabCon.

On  7th May. UKIP got 3.8 million votes. LabCon got 20.6 million, the SNP and LibDems who are EU fanatics together got 3.8 million. So the Out campaign has to pick up roughly 10.5 million votes from LabCon to secure an out vote. That's a big ask.and with Farage anywhere near the campaign its impossible.

If Farage  truely believed in getting us out of the EU he should have stuck to his resignation on that simple point that the coming crucial referendum out campaign could not succeed with him on board. He should have done as Captain Oates and sacrificed himself for the greater good but of course Nigel is not made of Captain Oates material.

Farage and his cabal are now irrelevant. Its the referendum first and last..

So what to do? I suggest Stuart Wheeler, Zac Goldsmith andother wealthy supporters of leaving the EU approach the wizard of Oz, Lynton Crosby and ask him to name his price to organise and run the Out campaign with total control over policy, personnel everything. We could always mount an appeal to bring in the money or as in the Day of the Jackal rob a few banks. Getting rid of a few bankers would go down well with todays voters.

Its the only way we can win. We have to buy this election with mercenaries. Forget principles and scruples just win. That's what the EU will do except they will be using your money to do it.

Be pragmatic as Henry of Navarre was when offered the French crown if he would convert to Catholicism from his Protestant religion. He did saying , "Paris is worth a mass"

We must be pragmatic. We have to buy the best for our children's sake.

Who is on this UKIP NEC that refused to accept Farage's non-resignation?

Farage claims the UKIP NEC is elected by the members. Click on

http://www.ukip.org/people_nec

I count 21 members. The UKIP constitution specifies 12 to be elected on a 3 year rolling schedule ie 4 per year. So less than 60% member elected. Mr Farage is thus being very economical with the truth when he describes UKIP NEC as elected by the members.

Here they are as on the UKIP website:

David Sprason UKIP Councillors
Association
Six are due to retire this year, 2015. NEC Elections are usually held in mid April but given the election it would not be unreasonable to defer the elections until mid May. So when is the 2015 election going to be held?

Why does UKIP need 2 treasurers?

Where does the UKIP Councillors Association occur in the UKIP constitution?  What is its relation to UKIP?  Including Sprason there are 8 ex-officio members. Chandran, Bown, Curtis,  Wauchope, Bursnall and McGough are elected members who should stand down this year, 6 in total but only 4 can be re-elected.

It all looks a bit of a shambles but not worth botthering about until you realise this is the group that unresigned Farage.

Five of the above are Farage nominees so presumably will do as Farage tells them. The two MEPs are paid employees of the EU. Great for a party that claims it wants to leave the EU.

Only the member elected representatives are entitled to vote so how many of them rejected the dodgy resignation? How many of them were even at the relevant meeting?

These questions are all unanswered but meanwhile Farage is snarling and aggressive at all who dare question him and demanding "very, very strong disciplinary action against the plotters". No evidence has been produced by Farage as to who these plotters are. Farage has quite simply lost the plot and looks like he needs a break as Carswell suggests. Having Farage carrying on in this autocratic  delusional manner is losing UKIP voters hand over fist. Nobody will vote for an angry old man which is what Farage is now looking like. For the sake of UKIP he should now take a long break. If not, why not?

A dodgy resignation followed by temper tantrums is no way to lead a political party.

Just watched 10pm TV. Farage interviewed by Sun on Sunday says he wants to remain UKIP leader until 2036. Carswell on BBC news calling for Farage to take a break and for UKIP to have a more.collegiate leadership. Looks like plenty of battles ahead,

The Farage resignation that never was

For those who have been spared having to endure the UKIP cabal's dirty tricks this episode is educational and compulsory reading. It has been written up by the delicious Isabel Hardman in the Spectator you can read it by clicking the link below:

http://blogs.spectator.co.uk/coffeehouse/2015/05/exclusive-nigel-farage-never-resigned-from-ukip-in-stitch-up/

It contains all the cabal's favourite dirty tricks, no minutes kept, no list of attendees Farage there but not there like McCavity the master cat. It was every thus in UKIP but they have managed to con 3.8 million citizens into thinking they were decent people an all time record in the UK surpassed only by US TV evangelists with an equal  love of money.

It all reminds me of some lines from the Border's ballad of the Otterburn used in the film, "The man who never was"

But I have dreamed a dreary dream,
Beyond the Isle of Skye;
I saw a dead man win a fight,
And I think that man was I.'

Except it was not a dead man but a man who was never there.

But who was La Hardman's source? If discovered he/she will soon sleep with the fishes.

Farage fruit cakes are still in business

I quote from DC's letter to pupils of his new freeschool in Private Eye

It is sad news about Mr Farage – he’s still with us. Having changed his mind over a pint or 20, the fruitcake stall is still in the grounds. Alongside is a large new stall offering traditional Scottish shortbread. It appears to be run by Ms Sturgeon, although there is a familiar face standing behind the trestle table, who looks a lot like Mr Salmond, roaring at passers-by and trying to pick a fight. Still, let’s just ignore all the amusingly tartan-clad helpers and I’m sure they’ll go away. After all, there are only 56 of them…
D.C.

I agree with Dave but what to do about Nigel.

I see he is still trying to horn in on the in out referendum. The last time this was on offer when Nicky, Trevor and chums collected enough signatures to get a debate in the House of Commons Farage forgot to sign their petition until he was Cricked by Nicky on College Green in front of a camera team and was shamed into signing which he did with his usual bad grace.

(If anyone can post a comment link to this historic footage I would be most grateful as I am sure would Mr Crick.)

So you see Farage has form or previous as Trevor might say on changing his mind. He is not a man to be trusted and clearly has no heart for our in/out referendum.cause

Dave's in/out referendum is now the only game in town. If you want to be involved please post your email in the comment section of this blog and I will pass it on to the steering committee of the 'Out' campaign when it is set up.

O'Flynn tires of Farage

Today in the Times Patrick O'Flynn says what I, Del and many others have said for many years about Farage's UKIP cult/party. Here is how Guido Fawkes reports O'Flynn's comments

UKIP’s Patrick O’Flynn has declared war on Nigel Farage on the front page of his favourite newspaper, the Times. O’Flynn says Farage is no longer “cheerful, ebullient, cheeky, daring” and has become “snarling, thin-skinned and aggressive”:
“What’s happened since Thursday night, Friday morning has certainly laid us open to the charge that this looks like an absolutist monarchy or a personality cult. I don’t think that even Nigel would say it’s been the most glorious chapter of his leadership. The team around Nigel himself need to reflect why it was that Thanet voted in a Ukip council but didn’t vote in Nigel as the MP for Thanet South.”
O’Flynn blames Farage’s “aggressive” and “inexperienced” aides, blaming a “Tea Party, ultra-aggressive American influence”.
O'Flynn is telling the truth and coming just after the Carswell argument it is now clear that Farage is losing control of UKIP
There is a persistent leak from the NEC telling the truth about the cult. There has to be a leadership contest.

Questions Farage should answer

Was he in the room when the NEC decided not to accept his resignation?

Who was at the meeting from the NEC?

How many of those present were elected members and how many  like Crowther were Farage nominees and placemen?

Perhaps Michael Crick is the man to ask these questions.

Who is the NEC mole? I remember a similar NEC mole hunt 5 years ago when the sycos went off barking up the wrong tree. The leak was down to the usual UKIP  sycophant's incompetence but this time there is a real mole on the NEC, Tinker Tailor etc

Short money,  according to Wikepedia

Farage resignation rejection was a put up job

As always with UKIP NEC things are fixed by Nigel and his sycophants. Click below to read the truth.

Things have not changed on UKIP NEC since I was kicked off 6 years ago. It is still a Farage rubber stamp with opposition shouted down.

How long will Carswell put up with this disgusting pretence of democracy. I am sure Dave will welcome Carswell back when he gets fed up with Farage. It will increase his majority if nothing else.

Follow the money to understand Farage

CARSWELL FIGHTING UKIP HQ OVER £650,000 SHORT MONEY

This is a great story by Guido which perfectly illustrates Farage's charaxter

http://order-order.com/2015/05/12/carswell-fighting-ukip-hq-over-650000-short-money/#_@/bVpMXG2G5a5mIQ

Short money was introduced by Edward Short many years ago to help amall parties to pay for their costs at Westminster. Carswell does not want all this money. I was there 6 years ago arguing UKIP should not take EU money which is quite simply an EU bribe. Short money is kosher but Carswell knows where it leads and it dies him great credit to turn this money down so why does Farage want it?

Douglas-Carswell-with-Nig-012Simples he would control the money it and it would enable him to buy many more paid syscophants to control the NEC. UKIP is a very lucrative business for the sycophants. UKIP exists for that function. Getting us out of the EU comes way down  Farage's list of priorities. UKIP are not looking to spend this money for the benefit of their 3.9 million voters as they claim. It would  to be spent for to benefit Farage and his cronies.

I hope Carswell keeps control of this money and tells Farage to get lost

Follow the money and undertsand the UKIP cult..

Farage on off resignation makes UKIP a laughing stock

Here is a quote from one TomPhil on Democracy forum that sums things up

Can you imagine this happening in any credible political party? Can you imagine if Ed Miliband suddenly announced today that he was continuing as leader of Labour after all, or Nick Clegg of the Liberal Democrats? Of course not. It would be ridiculous. I can imagine the derision any such decision would be treated with by members of this forum, and rightly so.

Had Nigel Farage resigned and then run for election again in September, even that would not have been so bad, because at least he could say he had resigned. But to withdraw his resignation and go back on what he said, what he put so much emphasis on during the campaign, absolutely destroys his credibility and integrity.

Does he not realise that at every single opportunity forever more UKIP's opponents will raise this as an example of his and UKIP's lack of integrity? When the EU referendum campaign comes round, what are the "yes" campaign going to say, every single time Farage opens his mouth? "Oh well, you can't trust a word he says: he promised to resign if he lost South Thanet and he didn't."

Does he not realise that UKIP has built much of its support on the basis of opposition to the dishonesty and lack of integrity in politics? That integrity, trustworthiness, being different to the other parties, was as much a part of UKIP's appeal as its opposition to the EU and desire to control immigration?

Further, it reiterates more than anything else could that UKIP is a one-man party. UKIP's opponents couldn't have done a better job of proving that if they had tried.

I am also extremely disturbed by Steve Crowther's description of the election campaign as a "great success". My understanding had been that UKIP was aiming to increase its number of seats. Instead it lost one of its two seats and failed to pick up any more. Is this was UKIP was aiming for? If this is a "great success", I'd hate to see what UKIP think a failure would have looked like. This proves that the party executive are in a state of complete delusion. If they cannot see that the election campaign was a failure and that big changes are needed they will repeat the same errors again and again with exactly the same results.

It doesn't matter whether you support Nigel Farage's leadership or not. However you feel about that, this has destroyed the party's prospects for years to come. It can be only complete hubris from Farage that has persuaded him to deliver a catastrophic blow to the party to retain his own position.

As I say, I joined UKIP ten years ago. I stopped renewing my membership for a few years due to Lord Pearson's leadership and I didn't renew after Farage became leader again because I had lost confidence in him. After the successes of last year I decided to give him another chance and re-join. However, I can now see I was absolutely wrong to. So far as I am concerned he now has no credibility or legitimacy as leader and his continued occupation of such role will damage the party and the independence cause until he resigns.

I will not be renewing my membership whilst he remains leader but further, for the first time in ten years, I will also be withholding my vote from UKIP and will not vote for or support UKIP in any election until he resigns or is voted out. I am very sad after ten years to be put in this position: I have stuck with UKIP through a lot, and I am sure for longer than most of its current members and supporters. But this action by Farage, coupled with the support of the executive committee for it, is beyond the pale as far as I am concerned and means I can no longer support the party.

I am also extremely disappointed in the members who have become so caught up in the Farage cult of personality that they consider the abandonment of the party's integrity and credibility to be a price worth paying to keep their idol in the role. The actions of such members in calling for Farage's reinstatement have been profoundly destructive to UKIP's aims and cause. I only hope that this damage can be undone in time.

Here is Nuttall's truth lacking statement to the BBC

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-32696505

The NEC is not made up only of elected members. Around 40% are Farage nominees. How many elected members were present for this decision? Very few I will warrant. Only the paid placemen would be summoned. It reminds me of an old Soviet style show trial.

UKIP is now clearly seen as a Farage cult. It is not a political party.

Russia puts on VE day celebration and warns the EU

It is an oft ignored fact in the UK that the Russians won the European war against Nazi Germany. They turned the tide at Stalingrad and with their superb  diesel engined T34 tank with its shell deflecting armour defeated the German panzers at the three battles around Kursk in 1943. The Russians call it the Great Patriotic War and they lost 30 million people in winning it. The flummery in London today with the flunkeys dressed up in their rich finery, to bow and scrape before Betty von Battenburg and her ever increasing brood is just a typical piece of British theatre like the last night of the proms.

Russia is a European country with a large well equipped, well trained army, navy and airforce. Its capital Moscow is 1000 miles West of the Urals. It was incredibly insulting for the EU and the UK not to send their heads of state and political leaders to Moscow for this parade. We owe them a huge debt for 1945. but the EU are rapidly getting us into a war with Russia over Ukraine and Crimea.

Fact: Crimea has historically been a part of Russia and its population voted overwhelmingly to rejoin Russia

Fact: In WWII many Ukrainians fought with the Germans against Russia and Putin will rightly never tolerate Dr Frau Merkel's 4th Reich on his borders.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-32668511

The first picture from this report says it all. A very advanced tank of which Russia has many. A large part of the reason Russia defeated Hitler was because of their T34s. We don't have hardware of that quality and power so if it comes to a conflict we will lose but it will be our children that are killed not the Eurocrat's kids.

So rather than being a force for peace the EU is a reincarnation of Napoleon and Bismarck's territorial ambitions in Eastern Europe. This is a dangerous time and we must rein in EU expansionism

PS Monday 11th May Merkel flies to Moscow on 10th May, day after the big parade to meet Putin. Usual great factual report from the WSJ on link below

Merkel at least is a realist. Must come from her science training.

Farage loses 7th straight Westminster Electiom

I wrote many times in the run up to this election that Farage would not win in Thanet  - he lost by 2800 votes. Farage has a track record of expensive,  to UKIP not Nigel, failure in Westminster elections. He is far too abrasive, with a  booze and fags image that women don't like. He is thus unsuited to be a PPC . On the other hand Diane James is polite, fragrant, nice looking pleasant, inoffensive and unthreatening - an ideal PPC. That is why she got closer to winning in Eastleigh than the ezpensively supported and well publicised Farage did at Thanet.  Why was she not asked to stand again in Eastleigh? Another triumph of Crowther lead UKIP incompetence?.

The man who defeated Farage at Thanet was , one Craig MacKinlay a founder member of UKIP and contemporary of Farage. Click link below to read about him

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Craig_Mackinlay

and here he is

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b05sxdxh/sunday-politics-south-east-10052015

Clearly there was some friction between McKinlay and Farage as happens with anyone of talent so in 2004 Ashley Mote was elected as UKIP MEP for the South East and was soon after convicted of benefit fraud. In 2005 MacKinlay joined the Tories. In 2009 Farage componded his folly by getting Andreasen in as no 2 on the SE MEP list. Andreasen was not qualifued to be a UKIP candidate but Nigel and his sycophant Gill waived the UKIP MEP candidate selection rules and subsequently. Andreasen of course fell out with Farage and along with Bannerman joined the Tories. It is a recurrent theme with his latest SE pick La Atkinson also now in bad odour.

However on 7th May 2015 it was pay back time with MacKinlay taking the MP slot leaving Farage looking an idiot. He who laughs last laughs longest. and there will be other pay back days for Nigel. He now is at a tipping point. He has made more enemies than he has friends.

UKIP's problem is that since kicking  Del, me and others off the NEC and out of UKIP who is left to stand up to Farage? There is  no one left on the NEC who dare tell Farage the truth about hinself. They all want places on the EU gravy train which is in Farage's gift. Farage understands that and promotes  people that are money motivated like himself.

In European elections people vote for a party not a candidate so Farage can hide behind the UKIP label. In Westminster elections there is nothing for him.to hide behind. People can see him for what he is.

His attempt to wriggle out of his silly commitment to resign as leader within 10 mins of his defeat was pathetic and stupid. Click below to see and hear his drivel

https://youtu.be/daQaV0ygXno

He reminds me of Arnie Schwarzenegger, "I 'll be back"

He still treats UKIP as his personal property and is trying to put in Suzanne Evans to keep his seat warm just as he did with Pearson in 2010. Evans has only been in UKIP two years and owes her position entirely to Farage's patronage. Farage obviously will still be calling the shots and is confident he can control Evans. Diane James is far more able but has been left out in the cold as she is her own woman.

You can read Evans statement on the UKIP web site:

Published May 08, 2015
WkQugaNu.jpegUKIP Deputy Chairman Suzanne Evans: "I am disappointed and sad that Nigel wasn’t elected as the MP for Thanet South. After all his hard work and his success in pushing the party from 3% to near 12% in five years. From 950,000 votes to 3.million votes and to 118 second places across the country. And in Douglas Carswell one of the most diligent and inspirational politicians to be elected to the House of Commons in recent years.
"I am of course honoured that Nigel has proposed me as interim leader of the party, whose hard working activists and supporters have propelled us so far.
"However the position is not mine to accept but must go to the National Executive Committee. They will meet in the coming days to decide who the party wants to act in the role of Interim Leader until such time as we organiser a democratic vote of the party to decide an new Leader in due course."
At least she defers to the UKIP NEC but does she not know UKIP already has a deputy leader, Paul Nuttall! Farage is still treating UKIP as his personal property. It is not but who on the NEC will stand up and tell him? Neil Hamilton  looks the most likely to me and possibly Alan Bown. Most of the other members are Farage placemen.

Farage is finished as UKIP leader. He should do as Clegg & Milliband have done resigned with no come back clause and make way for a younger man or woman. UKIP members deserve at least that. There were rumours about Farage's health during the campaign and he does not look a well man to me. He has a very unhealthy life style. I have no doubt however he will try and retain control of UKIP.

UKIP will now become increasingly irrelevant in our struggle to leave the EU. It exists only to funnel EU money into the UKIP cabal's bank accounts. I ask was it ever relevant at all to our struggle for freedom?
