Why mass immigration was not important for the political elite

Uncontrolled mass immigration is now top of  voters worries in opinion polls at 56% and rising. The next most important issue, the NHS is in the mid 30s and falling. For years immigration was ignored by the political elite partly for fear of being called racist, it was the BNP's major issue over these years. It is now unaoidable and easier to talk about following the BNP imploding as a political force. The second reason the political elite did not talk about immigration is a purely selfish one, it did not affect them or theirs!

Its not their kids who are all at 'good' ovesubscribed schools in expensive areas. if they are not at public fee paying schools, average fees £25k pa plus. Eiither way the political elites sprogs do not suffer from having kids who not only can't speak English in their class but speak many different lasnguages hardly a good basis for high educational standards.

This is of course no new thing. Shirley Williams and Anthony Crosland who wrecked grammar schools in the 60s for poor children were both educated at public fee paying schools  and sent their kids to fee paying schools. Even Jezza's  front bench black lady appointee Diane Abbott sent her son to City of London, a fee paying school which she could afford on her MPs salary. This of course is not an option open to 90% of Brits. They have to send their kids into the idiotic  educational mess created by our political elite whilst their own pampered sproggs go to good schools to be taught by the best teachers.

After 50 years nothing has changed. The children of the political elite go to at worst very selective schools like Blair and Harman's kids and who cares about ordinary poor kids.. No wonder we read frequent reports of a persistent widening gulf between kids from rich backgrounds and kids from poor backgrounds. You may say that's life but in my days in the fifties and early sixties the gap was very small and many working class kids like me went to the best universities. Not now with years of positive discrimination in against ordinary white working class male kids these children are a tiny minority.

People in council estates are not stupid. They know they will be the ones to get the refugees and asylum seekers with their large families living next door and competing with them for housing, education for their kids and health care. For the political elite in their Islington houses or leafy suburbs this might as well be on the dark side of the moon. Its a case of , "I'm all right Jack" and I'm going to Tuscany next summer..

Corbyn & Farage

I just listened to a bit of Corbyn's keynote leaders speech today and I was struck by how similar it was in its delivery to Farage's standard conference speech. Both speak to the faithful and ignore the great mass of the British public.  Corbyn did not acknowledge Labour's May election disaster. Farage blamed UKIP's May disaster on Nicola Sturgeon. Both are clearly living in cloud cuckoo land. Until you see things as they are and accept reality there can be no hope of political progress.

This is very worrying for the coming EU referendum. UKIP has two decent alternatives to Farage, Carswell and O'Flynn. Both are articulate, clever and much smarter than Nigel. Both can reach out beyond UKIP in Carswell's case to the Gladstonian free trade tradition and O'Flynn garners support from the soft left voters. They are both less abrasive than Farage and with many less enemies particularly with women.

It would give the leave the EU campaign a far better chance if both Carswell and O'Flynn were prominent in the leave campaign and Farage did his performing monkey thing in Brussels along with his side kick Nuttall well away from the UK media. Its a sad indictment of our country but a Liverpool accent does not appeal to many. Andy Burnham comes from Liverpool and supports Everton like Nuttall but Burnham has lost his Scouse accent to progress  politically. Nuttall's accent if anything seems to have become more pronounced with the years.

On the female side Mrs James is very acceptable electorally to the UK public. Miss Evans is OK but I would go with Mrs James. Women MEPs like Louise Boors and especially Jill Seymour should be kept in the cupboard for delivering leaflets along with men MEPs like Legge and Coburn.

In short Carswell, O' Flynn and Mrs James ahould be the UKIP media face and  Miss Evans should coordinate the show overall including non-UKIP people. All can reach out beyond the UKIP faithful which is what we will need to wn the referendum. There will of course have to be others from different franchises, business, science and engineering and the arts but four is quite enough involvement  from UKIP.

No one is safe in Farage's blame game

I almost died laughing when Farage was asked by one of the great men of the media why UKIP had only managed to win one seat in the May general election. After the usual Farage huffing and puffing and looking he eventualy ascribed UKIP's failure to that Scottish woman! Unsurprisingly the SNP did not stand a single candidate in England bur this is a mere bagatelle when Farage is seeking someone to blame. It is laugable but I remember when UKIP failed in the Henley by-election  at the subsequent NEC Farage was quick to blame those of us from the SW region for UKIP's failure in Henley. When I pointed out to the supreme leader that Henley was in his South East region not my South West region I was immediately attacked by the place seeking Faragistas like Bannerman for disrespecting the cult leader.

So remember blame is always delegated in UKIP and the supreme leader is always faultless, D Carswell please note..

Cameron is Merkel's poodle

Merkel is afraid of dogs hence when Putin comes calling he brings his biggest fiercest hunting  dog to terrify poor little Mutti. Merkel however has a house trained performing poodle called Dave. Cameron is quite simply the third traitorous Tory PM we have had, Heath & Major were the other two signing our rights away under German pressure. Only the Iron Lady stood up for us on the world stage. Clegg's silly remark about walking tall on the world stage was of course a huge lie. Clegg crawled on his belly like a biblical snake to the EU whenever UK interests were at stake.

The extent of this kow towing to the Krauts of course never emerges in the EU or UK but in the US by such dynamic organisations as car pollution control. It is well known that the German car industry has the EU in its pocket but thank God for the Yanks that pillar of Anglo Saxon culture. Cheating the rules is accepted behaviur in the EU and it even now extends to the UK. But if you get caught cheating in the US, as VW have and British bankers before that then fines are heavy and gaol sentences common.

Two years ago our government was going to tightening up car pollution testing procedures. This was widely supported in the UK by consumer and health groups, the civil service and by the British car industry. This change was never implemented. Mutti Merkel phoned her poodle Dave and asked him to defer the introduction of these more stringent tests as they would be bad for the German (EU)  economy and there was the usual lie about it damaging UK exports to the EU. Well as I wrote two days ago if Cameron had bothered to ask for the UK EU trade figures he would have seen this was a lie. But Dave of course was like the pooch on the His Master's Voice record label did as he was told. The UK car industry were furious and several CEO's asked Cameron why he was standing up for the German car industry against the UK manufacturers? But answer came there none.

Its a pity there will be no PMQs next week. This is an open goal that even Jezza could not miss.

More importantly how can we have any faith in our PM to renegotiate better EU terms for us when he is plainly Merkel's running dog? We can't and Cameron will like Heath and Major before him sell us out for a mess of potage or should that be renamed Eton Mess in the New English Tory Bible..

Enough of irrelevant UKIP, time for serious politics

It has long been my belief that the EU's hubris would bring about its downfall. Farage and his dodgy party of talentless self seekers are insignificant in the grand scheme of things. The EU downfall may be coming sooner than anyone expected thanks to the migrant army now invading the EU from the East as the Visigoths & Huns did many hundreds of years previously.

The lead story in today's Times is headlined, "We're facing destruction European chief warns".
The chief is one Donald Tusk a Pole who is president of the European Council who warns EU leaders that the refugee crisis was just the begining and , "mutual recriminations and misunderstandings" could well precipitate the the unions collapse. There is an election due shortly in Poland something which is concentrating the minds of the  EU political elite. No renegotiation possible Dave until after the Polish elections!

" Today we are talking about millions of potential refugeees trying to reach Europe not thousands. It iss likely that  more refugees will flow towards Europe not less. Especially as almost all of them feel invited to Europe"

Mr Tusk did not mention who issued the invitation but it is clear he was refering to Merkel.

The East Europeans paricularly the Hungarian are deeply resentful of the EU decision to force unwanted refugees of a different militant religion upon them and alter the social cohesion of their country. Religion is imprtant and the Hungarians have a long history of having to fight Islam to preserve their country and Christian religion.

The current EU proposals are inadequate in Eastern Europe which is facing an Islamic invasion of millions. Its a war by weight of numbers and the longer the EU prevaricates the worse the final conflict will be.

There is a safe country with a Syrian border called Israel. How many Syrians will find refuge there? None! The Jews know that to let Syrians in will destroy their country which has had to be on a war footing against Islam since it was founded in 1948. The EU better learn that lesson quickly or we will all pay a heavy price.

Remember these are the same Syrians who 8 years ago burned down the Danish and Norwegian embassies in Damascus because of some newspaper cartoons.  Political cartoons have been part of our culture for many hundreds of years.

UKIP conference tickets price reduced

I have to write something on UKIP to justify my blog's title. Today the Daily Telegraph reports

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/nigel-farage/11886068/Ukip-offers-cut-price-conference-entry-after-poor-ticket-sales.html

The message is sell Farages buy Corbyns

You can now buy a Friday ticket, the day of Nigel's big speech for £20!

A waste of money it will be the same as last year's which was the same as the previous year and so on. When you have heard one Farage speech you have heard them all. hyou cannot get a fag paper between them.

My advice is keep your £20 in your pocket.

Nigel Farage outside the Westminster Arms pub prior to his debate with Nick Clegg on Europe

Would you buy a used car from this man? the velvet collar is the give away.

Germans & French occupy top crucial EU roles

The French were always very good at having good candidates ready when important International jobs fall vacant. Thus Mme Lagarde who is French succeeded Strauss Kahn as IMF Managing Director. This ensured that the IMF backed the Franco Prussian line on Greek debt ignoring the rational arguments  on the other side for letting Greece leave the EU. This support was inevitable given Mme Lagarde also has domestic French political ambitions requiring Franco Prussian goodwill. Madame LaPresidente has a certain ring to it and would sit well with Madam President Hilary Clinton or Carly Fiorina in the US post Obama.

Prior to Strauss Kahn there have been two recent French IMF MDs,

Michel Camdessus, from France, was Managing Director from January 16, 1987 to February 14, 2000

Jacques de Larosière, from France, was Managing Director from June 17, 1978 to January 15, 1987

plus

Pierre-Paul Schweitzer, from France, was Managing Director from September 1, 1963 to August 31, 1973

Since the IMF was formed by Keynes in 1946 out of 11 MDs there has been 5 French MDs. The next nationality is Sweden with 2 then singleton Belgian, Duitchman, German and Spaniard. If we count up the years under French control it comes to 42 years out of the 78 years since 1946. Thats because the French once in like to do two or more terms. There has never been a British IMF MD. The FCO consider it beneath them to lobby for Brit candidates. Hence we get well and truly shafted by this  unsavoury collection of mid-Europeans.

This pattern continues with the so called European Parliament. Volkswagen as we all by now know has been caught by the Yanks cheating the system.

This will fall within the remit of the European Parliaments trade committee which is chaired by German SDP MEP Bernd Lang who happens to represent Lower Saxony,  home to Wolfsburg Volkswagen's main manufacturing base. Conveniently Mr Lang is also the main negotiator on the current Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership tals or TTIP for short.

The EU is as Nick Ridley noted 30 years ago a German racket and they have learned well from the French how to play it. The playing fields of Eton are irrelevant old hat!.

The US have a long history of being much harsher on foreign companies regulatory bereaches than domestic companies. Hence recently GM were fined a paltry $900m for faulty ignitions linked to 100 fatalities. BP on the other hand. a British company, as Obama never tired of saying responsible for 13 accidental deaths was hit for $50 bn in fines for what was a clear accident.

Why do the Yanks behave like this? The reason is as old as the Romans, only those with US Presidential votes count. Read Cicero! In the run up to a US Presidential elections I will be fascinated to see if La Clinton and La Fiorina repeatedly castigate VW as a "German Corporation"

EU is a bad deal for the UK and we should look elsewhere

I was given a free copy of the Times today by Waitrose. On page 41 there is a piece by Oliver Kamm, a Times leader writer, on matters arising from a Brexit for small businesses. I was struck by the simple graph he displays showing that since  mid 2012 UK trade with the EU has steadily worsened by over £10 bn.. In the same period our trade with the rest of the world has remained in balance. ( I regret that Mr Mudoch does not allow one to reproduce excerpts from his papers so no graph can be reproduced here.)

Mr Kamm is not very good at interpreting the obvious when it does not suit his EU phile agenda and writes, "No one reallly knows what would happen to trade and foreign investment if Britain left the EUwith the EU. We have to go on educated guesses. (More like prejudice in my view) That outside the EU Britain would no longer be as attractive a destination for direct investment."

I give below the Kamm's chart which seems to have come without acknowledgement from the ONS

Figure 3: EU/non-EU current account balance (Seasonally adjusted)

Figure 3: EU/non-EU current account balance (Seasonally adjusted)
Common sense shows we are exporting manufacturing jobs to the EU and that this imbalance is steadily worsening. The EU as Nicholas Ridley once said is a German racket organised and run to benefit the Germans. Nothing will change until we have the sense to leave and lo and behold the UK economy will perk up!

I do hope the Yanks mete out the same Xenophobic punitive fines to Volkswagen as they did to BP. The VW actions were no accident!

Cameron and the piglet

Internet Reacts to #Piggate

Dave obviously adores little pigs. He has a whole cabinet full of them at his house.

It was well described by Orwell in Animal Farm which ended in a fracas when the pigs and the politicians accused each other of cheating at cards. Just like the Buller.

Interested if anyone can lip read what Dave is saying to the little pig.

Corbyn, Merkel and the British media

I am appalled at the manure heaped on Corbyn for not singing the National anthem. Its a trivial thing in my view, an awful tune and the bit about crushing rebellious Scots is of course deeply offensive to Scots. It speaks much for the media's news values that Merkel whose ill judged remarks has created the carnage we now see  in Eastern Europe undoubtedly resulting in deaths of children has attracted little criticism from the BBC etc. Nothing Corbyn has said compares to the Dr Frau's stupid remarks. Nobody has died as a result of Corbyn not singing!

Let no one say the comrades do not have a sense of hunour. Click below to hear their string quartet play Big Spender as Jezza walks onto the stage.

This could catch on. Cameron could have the Eton Boating Song, Nicola Scots Wha Hae and Farron Free and Easy and for Farage perhaps Drink, Drink Drink from the Student Prince

I think Corbyn will do better than the media would have us believe. A man with a life long interest in man hole covers clearly likes to look beneath the surface.

Merkel the Siren

cover_120915_landscape

I loved this Spectator blog cartoon of Merkel as a Siren luring poor sailors onto the rocks of Scylla or Charybdis at the straits of Messina betwen Sicily and Italy. A real BoJo job one might say!

Click below to read the full piece<

http://blogs.spectator.co.uk/coffeehouse/2015/09/merkels-response-to-the-refugee-crisis-has-now-made-the-situation-worse/

I quote Reuters report below  :

The two-decade-old era of border-free travel in Europe was unravelling on Monday as countries imposed controls on their frontiers in response to an unprecedented influx of migrants.
Germany's surprise decision to restore border controls on Sunday had a swift domino effect, forcing neighbours to shut their own frontiers as thousands of refugees pressed north and west across the continent.
Austria dispatched its military to guard its frontier with Hungary after thousands of migrants crossed the border on foot overnight, filling up temporary accommodation space in tents and railway station car parks.
"If Germany carries out border controls, Austria must put strengthened border controls in place," Vice Chancellor Reinhold Mitterlehner told a joint news conference with Chancellor Werner Faymann. "We are doing that now."
He and Faymann said the army would be deployed in a supporting role.
"The focus of the support is on humanitarian help," Faymann said. "But it is also, and I would like to emphasise this, on supporting border controls where it is necessary."
Slovakia said it too would shut its own borders with Austria and Hungary.
BIGGEST THREAT TO SCHENGEN
The measures were the biggest threat to the Schengen system, which since 1995 eliminated frontier posts across Europe and ranks alongside the euro single currency as one of the transformative achievements of integration on the continent.
The 26 European countries in the Schengen area issue common visas and leave the borders between them unguarded. Frontiers which were fought over for centuries and which choked off traffic and trade just a few years ago, are now marked by little more than signposts on highways across the world's biggest economic bloc.
But the rules still bar undocumented migrants from travel within the zone, while leaving few mechanisms to stop them.
That has created chaos as hundreds of thousands of people, including refugees from war in the Middle East, arrive on the bloc's southern and eastern edges and head to richer and more welcoming countries further north and west to seek asylum.
European interior ministers were holding crisis talks, with Germany, France and the bloc's executive Commission trying to overcome opposition from eastern members to a plan to relocate 160,000 refugees from Italy, Hungary and Greece.
Poland said it was prepared to impose controls if migrants aimed for its frontier in large numbers, and any EU decision to impose quotas for accepting refugees on member states without their agreement would lead to institutional crisis.
"We will accept only as many refugees as we can afford, not a single one more or less," said Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz.

A draft agreement would also include strong language on the need for tighter controls of the bloc's external borders, rapid screening of arrivals and deportation of those without valid asylum claims, to help assuage countries concerned that relocating asylum seekers could attract more people.

The Spectator blog puts it thus

"Having, effectively, unilaterally ripped up the EU agreement on how to handle refugees, Germany is now desperately trying to re-impose the rules. At the start of this month, Angela Merkel’s government declared that any Syrian who could reach the country could claim asylum in Germany. This was contrary to the Dublin Convention of 1990 which set out that refugees should seek asylum in the first EU member state that they arrive in.
Predictably, Germany’s actions led to a huge surge in the number of refugees trying to reach the country. The volume of people coming is now so great that Berlin has had to put in place controls on the Austrian border. It is also saying that it won’t accept refugees who have been fingerprinted or admitted in another EU state. In other words, it wants the Dublin Convention to apply once more.

This U-turn reveals how ill thought through Merkel’s policy on refugees was. But the problem is Merkel can’t unsay what she said. Her words and actions in the past few weeks will lead to more people putting their lives in the hands of unscrupulous people traffickers. The tragic consequence of this is that more lives will be lost.
Statesmanship involves the ability to think through the consequences of your actions. Merkel has spectacularly failed that test in her handling of the refugee crisis. She has made a dire situation even worse."
Yes indeed. There is no situation that the colleagues cannot make worse.
I noticed the BBC's Daily Politics , today 14th Sept 2015 did not consider it worth including. They do not report EU cock ups as it does not fit their EU phile agenda.

Muslims want to dominate us not integrate and accept our tolerant democratic values

Charles Moore wrote an excellent piece in Saturday's Telegraph entitled , " Nothing has changed in 25 years to ease my concerns about Islam" and writes, "Muslims are on the move and many of them see a faith-run, faith-defined state as the ultimate goal". By faith they of course they mean Islam which recognises no other faith hence the murderous persecution of Christians in Pakistan to say nothing of the destruction of world heritage in Palmyra and by the Taliban in Afghanistan and Christians being imprisoned  in Saudi for merely possessing a Bible.

Islam is not a religion of peace. It expanded rapidly after its founding about 650 AD to rule a huge area   from Southern Spain to Iraq by 750 AD by conquest or if you like Jihad. That is the attraction to young Muslims that makes them want to be Jihadis, the reason that escapes our politically correct political elite.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/religion/11859029/Nothing-has-changed-in-25-years-toease-my-concerns-about-Islam.html

Moore is a Roman Catholic who has staunchly defended Catholic values for many years. I am not a Catholic but I am grateful for their opposition to covert Islam expansion  the so called refugee crisis facilitates. The Hungarian PM, Viktor Orban, a Calvinist with a Catholic wife has been the only major EU politician to publically oppose this covert Islamic expansion saying he wants to preserve Hungary's Christian heritage. Hungary  for the last millenium has been on the fault line between Christianity and Islam and know better than any country the threat Islam poses to our way of life. For this he has been widely criticised by the EU Merkel dominated ruling elite

A key Muslim policy has been to out breed native populations. I saw a bleeding heart TV interview two days ago with two 'poor' men claiming to be Syrian one travelling with his wife and six children and the other with his with wife and eight children. All looked well clothed and well fed so refugess they were not in my opinion. Put families like that into a Muslim ghetto dominated by some firebrand Imanns and 10 years later you have a load of homegrown Jihadis itching to kill kafirs.

In the mean time there will be lots of fully fledged Jihadis merging with the genuine refugees so trouble will start soon after their rehoming with various grievances dusted off  for the Guardianistas like Toynbee..

There are many other aspects of Islam that runs counter to our culture. Their desire to have their own Sharia courts and live by their own laws. (Will that include four wives?)

But here are the wimin, the Polly Toynbees? Muslim views on women are medieval and barbaric, segregation etc but not a word from the feminist brigade.

I lived briefly in Sudan an Islamic country. I knew several Oxbridge educated Sudanese in the UK who when I met them in Sudan had been in the modern parlance radicalised by the Muslim brothers. The truth was that they could not withstand the pressure from their families to resist these religous fundamentalists  Thus it will be in our country. In their ghetto surounded by their family and would be Jihadis they will at best keep their heads down and neither hear, see or speak anything against Muslim fanatics just as Roman Catholics could not oppose the IRA in Northern Ireland. Forty years on they are still trying to find the bodies of the disappeared!

Friday 11 September 2015

Its people who live in big houses telling those in small houses what to do.

Nothing more nauseating than our public school educated thespians with pots of money telling us poor plebs to take in and be nice to Syrian refugees. Perhaps they should be putting their mansions where their mouths are. there wer two poor Syrian refugeee families interviewed on TV this morning by the usual bleeding heart liberal reporter. On family had 6 children with them and the other had 8 children. Both sets of kids looked well dressed and well fed so clearly Assad/ISIL had not greatly impinged on their life style or fertility..

So when these families arrive here where will they be resettled, Primrose Hill, Holland Park or some other leafy area of London favoured by our socio political cultural elite. I doubt it.Think what that would do to the  value of houses in that area. In fact it will be difficult to find any area of London where they would be welcome because of the detrimental effect the would have on property prices but its London they all will want to live in.

So whats to be done? Simples! Ship them off to somewhere the BBC elite never go and probably do not know even exists like Skelmersdale or the Gorbals where they can remain out of sight and out of mind until the next time some poncy celeb needs a refugee backed photo opportunity and the media need a sob story.

Its just like posh folk having children. Nanny wheels them out for pics with celeb and after pics Nanny takes them away. The aristos especially Betty von Battenburg have benn doing this for 60 odd years we just learned yesterday.

Refugees are however not so easy to sweep under the carpet so be careful who you take and where you put them otherwise they may become Jihadis and want to behead a few celebs for fun.

PS 12th Sept in the DT a story of theBBC's smug, simpering Fiona Bruce seeking to stop the construction of smaller house adjoining the garden of her big house in Hampstead and invoking her right to privacy. Well we all have rights Ms Bruce but most of us don't have your vasr wealth to enforce it.

Too many Jews in the BBC

Hearing of the Israeli PM's visit today reminded me of my deceased cousin's scomment on joining the BBC in 1965. He was a great Queen, his own words, and not easily shocked and was certainly not a racist but he was clearly shaken by the number of Jews in our national broadcaster. Some are visible on TV like Rantzen and Rosenberg but many are in middle to senior management commissiong the BBC output. The BBC of course supplies no breakdown of its employees backgrounds citing journalistic exemption. Its nothing like the John Buchan caricature of a Jewish financier in The Thirty Nine Steps. They operate at all levels and in all roles in the BBC.

Jews are just like everyone else. There are good ones, bad ones, nice ones and nasty ones but my point is that they are vastly over-represented in the BBC compared with other religous/ethnic groups. The BBC is our national broadcaster and its employees at all levels should represent the religous ethnic structure of the UK population if it is to reflect accuately the views of our nation.

This causes a big and self perpetuating problem. The BBC is unwilling to run pieces critical of Israel or publicise Israeli wrong doing viz the wall they have just bult to stop Palestinians getting to what may well be their own land. It is self perpetuating in that Jews in recruiting positions will recruit a disproportinate number of younger Jews to fill training posts. They are not alone in this. I know of several medical school specialities where the head of department appoints his former students as consultants leadin to the persistence of bad practice

The BBC is a much more serious case. It has long been clear to me that the Middle East and Jerusalem mayl be the trigger for the next World War. Oblective, unbiased comment from the BBC will be needed would do much to defuse the situation. You are less likely to get that from a Jewish dominated organisatio.

A win for the EU sceptics but the philes are still odds on to win Referendum

The EU sceptics did well last night to block the government from calling a referendum at 4 weeks notice, now 4 months notice will be needed, and bending the Purdah rules: Here is a list of 37 Tories who voted against Cameron's little scheme to 'fix' the referendum.

Adam Afriyie
Richard Bacon
Steve Baker
Guto Bebb
Peter Bone
Graham Brady
Andrew Bridgen
Bill Cash
Christopher Chope
Geoffrey Cox
Philip Davies
David Davis
Nadine Dories
Liam Fox
Cheryl Gillan
James Gray
Philip Hollobone
Adam Holloway
Gerald Howarth
Stewart Jackson
Bernard Jenkin
David Jones
Edward Leigh
Julian Lewis
Tim Loughton
Karl McCartney
Craig MacKinlay
Stephen McPartland
Anne Main
David Nuttall
Owen Paterson
Andrew Percy
Tom Pursglove
John Redwood
Laurence Robertson
Andrew Rosindell
Andrew Turner

A notable omission is the man we call in Somerset the Young Fogey, Jacob Rees Mogg. There will be others whom the whips have fixed. Note Farage's nemesis Craig MacKinlay voted against Cameron.

So they have queered Cameron's pitch and stopped him blatantly deploying the UK government civil service machine to support the remain in campaign. The problem is they cannot bind the EU which is not subject to British law and is 'controlled' by EU law but of course we all know its the other way round, the EU control the European judges.

The EU spends huge amounts of your money promoting itself in the UK with much of this money finding its way into the pockets of lobbyists like whom the BBC wheels out as 'independent' experts for comment on EU schemes.

Then of course there is the BBC itself with its blatantly EU phile agenda.

Its a huge mountain to climb. Our best hope is a photographic game changer close to the referendum date spread alll over the media like the poor Syrian boy's  body on that Turkish beach.

Ban EU from campaigning in referendum, 100 Tories to warn

Thus reads the headline in today's Telegraph

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/eureferendum/11846777/Ban-EU-from-campaigning-in-referendum-100-Tories-to-warn.html?WT.mc_id=e_DM46150&WT.tsrc=email&etype=Edi_FPM_New&utm_source=email&utm_medium=Edi_FPM_New_2015_09_06&utm_campaign=DM46150

Well this is an improvement on 1975 when the Euro fnatics were allowed to buy that referendum with twice as much money and twice as much media space as those who wanted to vote down Heath's pathetic sell out of our country.

We hear a lot about the UN these days. Non-interference by external states in the domestic politics of another country is the founding principle of the UN. That was what Hitler did in Europe in the 1930s and led of course toWWII. Hitler exploited the grievances of German sympathisers and German minority populations as an excuse to interfere and eventually invade European countries. The EU is doing exactly the same using  Prussian economic power not military might to achieve its conquests. The result for the conquered will be the same. You can call it rule by the colleagues rather than rule by the SS/Gestapo but the effect is exactly the same.

Expect to see and hear lots on the media from the EU paid lobbyists like Roland Rat. These people take hundreds of millions of pounds of your money to promote the EU/SS. Do not believe a word they say.

The UK has nothing to be ashamed about

It was embarassing to see my near neighbour Paddy Ashdown just returned from holiday slagging off David Cameron for how little the UK has done for the refugees compared with Paddy's fairweather EU colleagues for domestic party political point scoring. For goodness sake we give £12bn sterling annually to help third world development! I don't like the Tories either but Cameron is our PM and deserves our support in this matter and is much superior to the motley crew of mid Europeans the LibDems so admire. Cameron's policy of taking refugees from the Syrian border camps is clearly correct. Why? Because of their proximity to the conflict zones we can hope to establish which are genuine refugess and which are economic migrants. Once they arrive at Budapest or Calais its much more difficult to distinguish these groups.

I was glad to see Daniel Hannan making a similar point in a recent article

http://www.capx.co/its-not-always-our-fault/

Its pretty awful when our left wing political elite kick our country all the time. Hannan makes some excellent points.

The piece is headlined by a photo of a group of MEPs and MPs on a fact finding mission to Scilly

It’s not always about us

It did not take sometime UKIP MEP and Farage protege long to get on the gravy train. He is of course like other Farage proteges now a Tory MEP.

From the UKIP website.

I quote from Hanaan's piece to give you a flavour of his theme

,"Rule One: It’s Always Our Fault. A Syrian boy drowns in Turkey trying to reach Greece? Britain’s fault! A boat bound for Italy overturns in Libyan waters? Britain’s fault! Illegal immigrants force their way through Hungary toward Austria? Britain’s fault!
It’s our fault for bombing Libya. It’s our fault for not bombing Syria. It’s our fault for propping up dictators. It’s our fault for toppling dictators."

I finish with a nice quote from a Peter Hitchen's piece on Chilcott describing where it all started with the great warmonger TB

"I will not believe they have understood what they did until two things happen: when Elizabeth Wilmshurst, the Foreign Office lawyer who resigned in a lonely protest against the illegality of the war, heads the honours list with a damehood and a GCMG; and when Anthony Blair gives every penny he owns to charity, including all those blasted houses, and goes off to spend his remaining years in a Trappist monastery, along with Alastair Campbell, who will be good at helping him keep his vow of silence."

Hungarian Government gets it right Merkel is wrong to waive the rules

Politicians do not know their history. In 1529 the Turks beseiged Vienna and were defeated. The Turks tried again in 1683 and failed again. Vienna was one of the capitals of the Austro Hungarian empire the other was Budapest. I heard one Hungarian politician this morning say they were fighting to preserve their Christian culture as they were in 1523 and 1683. They do not want to be overwhelmed by Islam. They have beeen fighting this batlle for many hundreds of years. That Merkel thinks she can without EU agreement waive EU rules on asylum seeker registration shows just how much the EU is a Prussian dictatorship.

I saw refugees of the Sudanese civil war 25 years ago. The were poorly clothed and emaciated with no money. Those at the Budapest station today do not look like that. They are well fed, well clothed and have money to pay for their passage.  Hungary has offered them sanctuary under the EU rules. They are clearly mainly economic migrants seeking a better life. There is nothing wrong with that but to call them refugees or asylum seekers is just plain wrong. The emotional frenzy that is being whipped up by the media is wrong. These people should be treated and processed as migrants using EU rules on migrants..

Leave Vote prospects improve

The reworded question is much fairer. Judgement on keeping Purdah, we will have to wait for Dave's weasel words. Its obviously done to try and stave off a parliamentary defeat.

Meanwhile the EU's incompetent handling of the refugee/ migrant crisis continues to be our best ally for leaving just so long as Farage stays out of the debate but he won't. So its then a question of who can make the most cock ups Juncker/Merkel or Farage? My money is on NF. He has a lot of previous form in this area.
