It saddens me that our well educated political elite, many Oxford PPE graduates choose to use their educational advantages to confuse and denigrate those without such advantage by corrupting the meaning of our language. I take the view that a good education should be used to explain,honestly and truthfully to those less fortunate.. Regretfully they have done the opposite and behave like Big Brother in Orwell's 1984 to try and scare the populace into submission. Project fear.is there to read in '1984' although it existed for many thousands of years before. It has been an effective weapon for unscrupulous politicians throughout history.Mrs May is just not very good at it but she does try hard as it probably said in her school report.
