Nuttall interview with Andrew Neil tonight.

I thought Nuttall acquitted himself well against AN tonight. Unlike LibLabCon he tried to answer not, evade, the questions AN put to him and Andrew Neil clearly liked him for that which made the interview a whole lot easier for Nuttall.

I thought Nuttall's pretty straight answers will appeal to the electors compared oo the weasel words of Farron, May & Corbyn etc. He did not have to be asked the same question umpteen times and did not attempt to evade the point of the question.

Overall his performance will play well with the electors outside the M25 and will win votes for UKIP with D/C  electors. I therefore expect UKIP to do better than expected on 8th June. They will still no badly but it won,t be a total massacre. UKIP will still be on the pitch come 9th June.

I did sit through the full interview and sorry I was not impressed by Paul at all. The intellectual vacuum at the heart of UKIP is safe in his hands and Andrew Neal gave him an easy time, especially after his claims on Hillsborough, being a professional footballer and education. UKIP seem to have given up with the Labour vote and are now determined to satisfy a nasty minority. He is a liar and fits in well with the fruitcakes I once devoted time to. His only saving grace is that his stupidity has a charm that might appeal. He makes Leanne Wood sound like a University Challenge contestant. But then I did sit through the Corbyn and May 90 minutes that followed Paul. I must get a life.

I agree, Nuttall is an intellectual vacuum. Yes AN gave him an easy time probably because he felt sorry for him. He was always Farage's monkey but now the organ grinder hs departed he is rudder less. He did nasty things to many Kippers at Farage's behest. I would describe him as a fantasist rather than a liar.

For the sake of his CV, I think fantasist will open up many doors for him.

The BBC Debate 31/5/17, if debate is the correct word to describe the debacle, highlighted why the UK politics is so broken. I am very critical of Paul Nuttal but the planted audience refused to allow him to explain his views. This is a dangerous place when the left, and the BBC, are blinkered to the real world around them and shout down any person who has a different set of politics. The BBC should be ashamed of themselves, heads should roll and it is certainly time to question the elevated and protected position the BBC has in this country. Paul had every right to react on the night with anger but he held himself together to his credit. The BBC should publicly apologies to UKIP and the BBC license payers. I would how many of the Labour hecklers actually contribute financially to the BBC.

I agree with you. It was very biased audience vocally. Nuttall did well under severe provocation from the two nasty women Lucas and the Welsh one. Amber Rudd, whom I detest also has cause for complaint given her father died two days previously. I notice the Scot Nat, Farron and Corbyn were also exempt from the two harridans attacks.I have asked the BBC frequently under for a breakdown of audiences like these by sex, age, ethnicity and political party. They say that as a jornalistic organisation they are exmpt from such requests. Time that was changed. Stacking a rigged audience is not journalism in my book.
