The EU does not want to negotiate, domination and humiliation of the UK is their aim

Yesterday Barnier again laid out the EU will not shift or concede anything to the UK. It suits Rabb and his boss May not to hear this clear and unambiguous statement. They are again driven by domestic UK politics. Corbyn says he will negotiate a deal which will protect  UK jobs. Everyone knows this hogwash but Rabb has to pretend he is negotiating with Barnier, another fantasy so he can pretend that May's dance of the seven veils has something behind the veils. Another smoke and mirrors job. .The woman May is an empty barrel we need to discard as soon as possible to save what is left of our country.

We have to see things as they are not what May's propaganda machine wants us to believe. There are only two possible outcomes to this rerun Greek tragedy We either submit to the EU's will and become a vassal state or we leave on March 29th under WTO rules and resume our place in the world as an independent country with a permanent seat on the UN security council. This should be put clearly to the British people by our political elite, freedom or bondage to a Franco Prussian ruling class. Napoleon and Hitler both failed in this ambition to enslave us but I fear may and Oily may succeed.

Remember the words of Rule Britannia which will be sung by the Remain dominated audience at the last night of the proms this autumn.

Its a political power struggle but, we the British, people currently don't have a dog in the fight. We have to get one very soon.

I could have told you this on June 24th 2016.

Don't argue, don't negotiate. Tell them we will go to WTO rules unless we have the same access to their markets as before, No free movement of people. That's it,

Sit back and wait - they will come eventually.

Yes, like you I knew that 24/6/16.The two years since then have been wasted in a political farce led by our worst PM ever. Its Tommy Atkins that as always will pay the price whilst the traitors in ermine drone on.

You are right there ARE only two options given that we are leaving the EU's club.

First to do a comprehensive deal, before March next year, to maintain our exiting £270 billions worth of trade or second to damage our economy by not doing a deal which cannot and will be alleviated by tghe so called WTO option.

Sorry my last line above should read:-

'...cannot and will NOT be alleviated by the so called WTO option.'

If 100% of the voting electorate in the referendum had voted Leave, then there would be a mandate to walk away. As we know that did not happen and via Article 50 there has to be negotiations. Walking away without negotiations would have been political suicide and you would now have a Labour Government forging a new membership of the EU. It may hurt but nearly 50% of the UK voted to Remain in what was the most pathetic referendum campaign of all time from both sides.
The real villains are the MPs who lied to the UK and the MPs who voted through treaties without reference to the people. My god if May is the worst PM of all time, what words do we use to describe MPs who failed to take treaties to the people and explain the surrender within.
Sorry Eric but despite Cameron stating a vote to Leave was a a vote to leave the Single Market and Customs Union, the slender result does not make that an easy outcome.

Weasel words Mr Harness. 52% voted leave and the majority was 1.3 million. Democracy is the will of the majority and must prevail or we slide into a banana republic with the civil disobedience and violence that entails.

I agree with SH the vote was close and the camapign on both sides misleading.

A PM worth their salts would hae created a Brexit department of all parties and both sides of the debate but then Mrs May has the leadership qualities of a sick flea.

There is no doubt we will be leaving the politics of the EU but only an blinkered uninformed person would not negotiate a compromise deal to secure our £270 billion worth of trade with the EU.

A 1.3 million majority is not a close vote, its a massive majority roughly the same as British casualties in WWI. Obviously basic arithmetic is not required of army officers.

Our trade with Europe dates back to the Neolithic. It was there before the EEC/EU and will be there long after the EU is gone.

This is your basic problem Eric our trade with the EU 27 has come a long way since Neolithic times and is far more complex and sophisticated than those early days :-)
