The following email purports to have been sent out by Nuttall & Arnott but given its content I do not know if it is true, false or a spoof email of the type used by Bannerman. I give the text below:

It is with regret that we write to inform you that our e-mail database has been compromised and passed to anti-UKIP groups outside the party by a former general secretary of the party.
We can only apologise to members should they receive unpleasant or unwanted e-mail during the course of the campaign, and ask that members be aware that our opponents are likely to try and fool members with false information, lies and distortions.The security leak which caused the problem has been dealt with, and the matter is now in the hands of the police.
UKIP's data is now secure, and we can only apologise to members for any distress or inconvenience which this may cause.

Hi,
I gather it is true and EUkip find themselves in the embarrassing position of having to circulate their members to point out that they are incompetent to carry out the simplest of functions let alone show they are fit to seek the votes of unsuspecting and ill informed voters.
This is but the tip of the iceberg when you realise that they have been using kangaroo Courts and trumped up evidence to persecute elected members and position their 'Chosen Ones' as praise singers and in a position to get their snouts in the troughs or able to catch the crumbs from the spillage!
That EUkip's puppet unelected chairman and Farage's sad little placeman have openly admitted that they are in flagrant disregard of The DPA and the specific warning of The ICO speaks volumes.
That the proven liar and failed publican etc. not only had access to EUkip's servers and has been tampering with EUkip 'e'Mails in CLAIMED efforts at entrapment and that he has known connections with extremist clandestine political organisations shows just how corrupted EUkip is and how as Farage's self enrichment feifdom is without morality and off the rails.
Let us hope that not one single solitary diishonest MEP is returned by EUkip as it so greatly harms the EUroSceptic movement and the chances of cleaning up the party and relaunching UKIP.
