Well the hustings are over and soon we will know the result. Meanwhile Farage on Newsnight bumbles on answering hypothetical questions he asked himself and implying his support for Tony Blair as EU president! Every politician I have ever heard knows the danger of answering hypothetical questions but Farage seems now to believe he transcends the safety first rules that apply only to lesser politicians. Farage again shot himself and UKIP in the foot. We cannot get a new leader quickly enough.
I ponder on who we might have had. Many people ask me why Del Young did not stand. He is a fine speaker, politically very astute and he has real integrity and dedication to our cause. The reason Del did not stand was that Nuttall kicked him out on the allegation of being a member of UK First. The allegation was completely untrue and no evidence was ever produced to support it but in UKIP any allegation made by the Cabal needs no factual basis or hearing. It's pure Queen of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland, verdict first trial later except UKIP dispenses with the trial bit.
The other leader UKIP might have had was Richard Suchorzewski. He stood against Farage in the 2006 leadership election and was subject to a vitriolic character assasination by the Cabal by the vilest allegations, many personal that were totally untrue. His manifesto then can be seen by clicking the link below:
Suchorzewski
Both Del and Richard are around 40 years old, would not have gone to Brussels but would have campaigned in Britain, built up the party structure in the UK and encouraged youth in the party. Both have the management background needed to build up a real effective UK based party strucure.
None of the present candidates recognise the importance of this.Ex UKIP election candidate Rob McWhirter said: "If we don't serve our existing membership adequately, and reduce the churn of new members, no amount of swanning around TV studios or call centre recruitment will save us.
As the result of the personal villification Richard resigned from UKIP. A big mistake as he could not get back in despite the support of Roger Knapman. The truth was Farage did not want a potential leadership rival back in the party.That is the reason Farage now supports Pearson. He is no threat to Nigel and will simply keep Nigel's seat warm. The other candidates all have their strengths and weaknesses but none will make as good a leader of UKIP as Del or Richard would have made. All are however preferable to Pearson but I still mourn UKIP's loss of Del and Richard.

Hi,
although Del Young put on a relatively good performance on a few occasions unfortunately he completely lacked any visible ability, had little control of his tongue when it came to inappropriate expletives, and achieved absolutely nothing to commend him as a leader of anything.
Being able to shout at Farage at an NEC meeting is no measure of ability, and it was clear that he was not realistically a contender having set up his Blaby Branch it showed no sign of activity - or for that matter members!
Del's clearly deliberate action to ensure he went no where in politics, can be blamed on no one but himself, as he refused to provide a CV or presumably an enhanced CRB & Birth Certificate.
We are fortunate he was not as competent and dishonourable a liar as David Bannerman but try as one might to help Del he was determined not to make himself electable.
Del was also an atrocious judge of people - consider his support for the clown Bruce Lawson, the low life and liar Peter Cole, the untrustworthy bent ex copper Trevor Colman and the other hand selected associates of those who were meeting in London to impress themselves at their secret opposition to Farage!
It is clear Del did not believe there were skills in his background that would display ability or leadership it seems, as he WOULD NOT provide a CV.
No CV = NO TRUST!
Only a fool would vote for a chap with no past!
Richard Suchorzewski had no honourable alternative but to resign, as it was clear that Farage endorsed the vile lies and utterly corrupt activities of John Moran, David Lott, Mark Croucher, Douglas Denny, Annabell Fuller and Farage's other claque chumps!
Clearly Pearson, who Margaret Thatcher knew to be politically inept, is an award winning Zionist extremist with little time for EUkip and less knowledge of the party.
As an openly Islamaphobic extremist there is every danger Farage's chosen one will in a short time place the EUkip firmly in the position of being little more than TheBNP in Ermine & Expensive blazers!
The loss of Farage as the performing monkey dancing on top of the organ might just permit a new and competent organ grinder to emerge to play what is a well crafted tune and a popular melody.
It has been the self importance of the performing monkey as it urinated on the crowd that has held back developement in EUkip.
After 16 years EUkip still has no organisational chart, no clear lines of communication, no team work, no structure, no vision (just ambition), no political eptitude, no transparency, no cohesion, no training, no exit strategy, no money - living hand to mouth mostly funded by professional gamblers!
A monkey in silk is a monkey no less!

I totally disagree with your comments on Trevor Colman, Bruce Lawson and Peter Cole. I have always found them to be dead straight.
We all have our downsides and good points but I find Del a pretty decent trustworthy bloke unlike the Cabal.
My main point is the way talent, management ability and leadership has been forced out of UKIP by the Cabal leaving a dearth of leadership candidates and to Pearson's disastrous coronation. I would have liked to see your friend Niall Warry stand.

I totally disagree with your comments on Trevor Colman,
How pray do you justify his collusion in the criminality of Tom Wise wherein he colluded in an utterly dishonest and corrupted investigation. Prostituting his Queen's Commission as a cover for a pack of lies.
It looks all too like he sold his integrity for his position as an MEP.
A dishonest, dishonourable man of no visible merit now all too happy to sit with racists and extreme anti Jewish in the EFD.

Bruce Lawson and
Bruce Lawson was a self seeking personally ambitious and clearly incompetent fool. As an accountant his ambition and strutting self importance got in the way of his judgement and he was untrustworthy.

Peter Cole.
A liar, a cheat and a bully - too stupid for words as shown by his inept association of Tom Wise with UKFP via Wise's office and salary! Maliciously dishonest regarding West. Utterly without political savvy and working behind everyones back at any opportunity.
Politically stupid enough to think Del could run anything much beyond a bath without providing credentials.
Peter Cole was vicious when he was shown to be the failure predicted.

His language is atrocious, his political savvy non existent and he has all the control over his temper a patient in a cholera ward has over his gut!
Without a CV Del is an irrelevance and he was so stupid that however clearly it was pointed out he couldn't understand it - a sad figure.

There I agree with you - it is sad that anyone can see Pearson as a credible leader. One only has to look at the effective demise of Global Britain to understand his political abilities, as did Margaret Thatcher!

Excellent on nuts and bolts and would have filled very much the same role as Richard Suchorzewski but with rather less ego and greater real confidence ;-)
Both would have had to depend on team building which EUkip desperately needs and both would have had to weed out the filth that has and will destroy EUkip.

Mr Watkins,
If you moderated your language you would be much more effective in that people would pay more attention to what you write.

Its an opinion.
vile = vile
filth = filth
betrayal = betrayal
collusion = collusion
corruption = corruption
lies = lies
What Aesopian apologia would achieve more than the truth?
Which word ameliorated would have made the facts more plausible, in your opinion.
As the victim and recipient of some of the most vile lies and misrepresentation from some in EUkip, indeed some in your chosen 'straight' group, pardon me if I tell the truth rather than tickle their betrayals with selected words of amelioration.
I find the truth so very much more effective than temper tantrums! Or for that matter duplicitous plottings behind closed doors!
Don't you?

Mr Watkins,
I leave my blog open for comments which I do not edit or moderate. Is yours similarly open to encourage debate?
Eric Edmond asks...
I leave my blog open for comments which I do not edit or moderate.
I am glad you do so as this gives an opportunity for debate and comment and also the opportunity to put forward facts and corrections of errors, where apposite.
I am happy to assist your aim of comment and debate when I have a chance and can find the time.
Is yours similarly open to encourage debate?
No not all - I moderate some and on others have comments switched off as few of the 30 or more blogs I am involved in are designed as a platform for debate.
Also with so many blogs I can not do justice to those seeking to debate they are best placed somewhere like:
www.Politic.co.UK on a competently managed Forum.
