Russia EU war in Ukraine gets closer

Our esteemed Foreign Secretary Fallon has finally twigged this war is now a distinct possibility.
Its in today's Tory Telegrah so it must be true. Click below to read

I have been flagging this up for over 6 months now but is something the EU loving FCO does not want to hear. Over 7000 have been kiled in Ukraine so far and worryingly ther are now 75 UK soldiers there to help train the Ukrainian army. That's excactly how the US got started in Vietnam a disastrous conflict leading to a US defeat with tens of thousands of US soldiers killed.

Note how Fallon describes it as a likely conflict as between NATO and Russia. It gives the lie to the EU claims to have kept the peace in Europe. The EU has like Tony Blair proved expert at starting wars not keeping the peace.

It reminds me a bit of Kipling's poem Tommy Atkins:

I WENT into a public 'ouse to get a pint o' beer,
The publican 'e up an' sez, " We serve no red-coats here."
The girls be'ind the bar they laughed an' giggled fit to die,
I outs into the street again an' to myself sez I:
O it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' " Tommy, go away " ;
But it's " Thank you, Mister Atkins," when the band begins to play
The band begins to play, my boys, the band begins to play,
O it's " Thank you, Mister Atkins," when the band begins to play.

When the shooting starts the EU colleagues will be nowhere to be seen and the British squaddies will do the dying and our useless political elite will shed crocodile tears as the body bags come home. It would be better if we left the EU now. That would save our young men's lives and all our money.

Nice to see the EU Phile BBC remaking Tolstoy's War & Peace set in the midst of that great previous defeat of the French by the Russians leading to the downfall of Napoleon. Its a pity Juncker the spirtual heir to Napper won't suffer a similar fate.
