Theresa May has hired a leading Remain campaigner to run her Tory leadership bid. Alison Griffiths will be May’s Director of Operations, fresh out of her role as Chief Operating Officer for the doomed Conservatives In. On her CV Griffiths says she was“COO of The Prime Minister’s campaign for the UK to vote to Remain in the European Union”, hardly something to boast about. Griffith’s Conservatives Incolleague Charlotte Vere, who was the group’s executive director, is also campaigning for May. Will this convince the membership of May’s commitment to deliver on Brexit?
Put this with May's supporters, Heseltine, Clarke etc and its aesy to see where Mrs May will lead the Tories, right back into the EU!
