Punish the Brits pour encourager les autres

Many have pointed out that the prospect of the UK prospering outside the EU is behind Barnier's intransigence to the extent of sacrificing the interest of  EU workers to the grand project of an EU, ie French state to rival the US. Barnier's  other objective is of course Juncker's job so he has a double incentive to kick the Brits.

I do not like T May but she has bent over backwards to please the EU. How much more  can she bend before the Tories snap her in two?

The EU resent the Anglo Saxons ruling the free world. The French think they should rule with their EU funded Grande Armee. The Prussians want the same thing via their EU Wehrmacht. There is  an obvious clash coming there. Why does the FCO not try and drive a wedge in there. It has worked for us for hundreds of years. Only the  Swiss have escaped seeing their country invaded. Every other country in Europe including Russia has had to suffer brutal Franco Prussian invasions leading to mass slaughter of their population. The Germans are currently top of the hate list but the French are a close second.

Its time for the FCO to do some real diplomacy to benefit the UK. The Yanks will have their hands full defending the apartheid state Israel has just become. I just hope we stay out of it. Arthur Balfour planted the seed to create this Israel mess. Would he had stuck to  playing golf at North Berwick.

The real art of diplomacy is to stay out of all wars. They are always costly. That's why the Swiss are so rich

I think it is nonsense to continually brand the EU as the badies in this as in any divorce one has to consider the other sides point of view.

Read and inwardly digest.

Wrong. You have to consider the worst the other side might do to you and act to minimise its impact on your plans. Its war.

That is just silly - perhaps you have been out in the sun too long ;-)
