Nigel Farage's Economy with the Truth

I returned to the UK in time to see last night's Question Time with the great leader in a minor supporting role to the star of the show, Daniel Hanaan. Hanaan has led the fight to publish MEP expenses. Farage has not. Why not? Because he has had his snout in the trough, employed his wife and did not want his expenses published. His statement that he will publish receipts for his expense funded expenditure is not good enough. Dimbelby should have said that the electorate were surely entitled to know these facts before the 4th of June election when Farage was asking for their votes.

Farage again trotted out his imaginary tale of a UKIP meeting being stormed by a BNP member as part of a publicity stunt. He was clearly alluding to the NEC meeting of 3rd November which was attended by UKIP member Buster Mottram. When the BNP membership list was later placed in the public domain I could not find Mr Mottram's name on it. I believe that in the late 70s Mr Mottram was a member of the NF. This was known to Mr Farage whom I believe described it as a 'youthful indiscretion' and approved Mr Mottram's UKIP membership presumably because of Mr Mottram's high media profile as a former British number one tennis player.

I was at the meeting of 3rd Nov and my recollection of the events are as follows. Mr Mottram had written to the Party Chairman in September or earlier requesting an audience with the NEC. Chairman Nuttall phoned me prior to the scheduled October NEC meeting for my views. I replied that the NEC should always briefly see any UKIP member who wished to address us on UKIP matters. Nuttall then cancelled the October meeting at short notice citing that some members were unable to attend. (What he meant was they did not have sufficient votes on 6th October to kick me off the NEC!)

On 3rd Nov at 2:00 Del Young & I entered the first floor room at the Farmer's Club, Whitehall Court where the meeting was due to be held. Buster Mottram was sat on Martin Haslam's left with David Abbott sat on Martin's right. I sat down next to David with Del on my right. Farage & Nuttall arrived shortly afterwards and sat at the head of the table. (Farage and his cabal habitually have a preliminary meeting at the hotel next door prior to the NEC. David, Del and I were of course never invited!) It is quite simply a lie to say Mottram stormed the meeting. He did no such thing.

There was some debate about whether we should listen to Mottram and whom Nuttall had phoned re Mottram's attendance which I found confusing as he was referring to phone calls made 6 weeks previously for the October meeting. Martin said Mottram was there as a witness to his phone call from a jounalist from the Independent newspaper. This was a scandalous entrapment of Martin by Farage who had set up the whole thing with the jounalist so he, Farage, could accuse Martin of disloyalty. Later in the meeting I forced Farage to admit his sordid scheme and when he did I called his actions despicable and left. David, Martin and Mottram also left with me. At the same time the police arrived. Mottram was not ejected. He left of his own free will. Del left about 5 minutes later.

Mottram did testify to the spoof phone call to Martin and then challenged Farage about employing his wife at a large salary in direct contradiction of stated UKIP policy. Mottram then made some proposal of an electoral alliance with the BNP which was unanimously rejected. Denny, Zuckerman, Oxley and Duffy became increasingly agitated and hysterical. Nuttall completely lost control. There was no storming of the meeting as Farage stated.

That Farage fabricates stories on the hoof is seen by his claim on QT that full details of his expenses are available on the Open Europe website. I could find no such records and neither it seems could Anthony Butcher and others of Democracy Forum. Open the link below to read the thread:

Farage expenses

I have suffered from these Farage fictions before. Farage claimed one of the UKIP candidates deselected, i.e. me, had advocated supporting another party in the June elections. I never said this. What I did say in mid Dec 2008, after a meeting between Farages representive Malcolm Wood concerning Libertas and my local committee, a meeting at which I only spoke once to advocate support for Trevor Colman and the SW UKIP campaign, was that if the general feeling was to cooperate with Libertas I would not oppose it. At that time it was common knowledge that Farage was in discussions with Ganley concerning a joint campaign and in January, one month later, one of Farage's assistants registered with the Electoral Commission a party called Libertas UK!

It is a complete lie that I advocated supporting Libertas. My view was that if Farage and his cabal wanted to have some sort of joint campaign with Libertas I would go not oppose it. He had done this in Ireland with Ganley and frequently crowed about his contribution to the successful Ganley campaign against the Lisbon treaty. Farage was the one pushing the Libertas link not me. The proposed link died when Ganley saw through Farage.

I confidently predict Farage's expenses will never be made public in the same detail and over the same period as our MPs recently have been in the Telegraph. If they were Farage would suffer the same fate as these MPs like Hogg etc.

Hi,

Firstly I can confirm that Nigel Farage lied on Question Time regarding his expenses. There is absolutely no public record of his expenses - there is absolutely no listing of his expenses on 'Open EUrope' - In fact Nigel farage is on the record and it has been reported in The Sun that he stated that he had absolutely no idea where the £2,000,000 he boasted of making from the EU had gone (Tax Payers' Money!)

It is interesting that Farage has lied extensively on Sky also in an interview with Dermot Monaghan where he claimed to have the expense of a large office in his constituency to pay for - his large office is paid for by Julia Longhurst as recorded under donations.

Farage lied about employing his wife and even to date has failed to identify any meaningfull work she does for EUkip for her £30,000 a year as reported in The Times.

Then again Farage has lied about his allowances and expenses which far exceed the £2,000,000 he boasts of and may well be as high as £5,000,000 over the last 10 years - that tax expediency has suited a second mortgage on his home is no indication of his pecunniary status - that is better indicated by his spending profligacy and bank depositys to tax havens such as The Isle of Man - a deposit of £250,000 on one occasion alone!

That NBigel Farage openly lied about his Reichstag Fire Moment when he invented a problem and then invented its solution regarding the NEC meeting.

The tape recording clearly showed that Dr. Edmond's recollection of the meeting was largely right, however I can add a few substantiating facts.

No one 'Burst' into the room as Farage dishonestly claimed. There was absolutely no attempt by The BNP to infiltrate or take over the meeting, the NEC or EUkip - this is fancifull dishonesty by Farage and was a set up 'Reichstag Fire Moment' (not the first).

Buster Motram is a personal friend of Farage's from many years back and Farage had, as I recall, encouraged him to join EUkip as a member many years back. Farage had also used him as a minor celeb. speaker and draw card. I understand that Motram was in The National Front with Nigel Farage's Father Guy who was a stock broker and Ltnt. in the TA (Sharyp Shooters - Heavy Cavalry, now Tanks).

I also understand that Farage's cousing is associated with Motram and they are socially/familialy connected.

It is clear from the tape that Farage INVITED Motram to speak and that Motram delivered 'a proposition' that clearly HE had come up with which he had commented on in passing to Griffin of The BNP at some meeting.

It was only the lack of intelligence and self control by the moronic claque at the meeting that led to anything but a polite 'thank you and we will consider your idea', dismissal of the proposition.

Clearly the pond life on The NEC like Zucherman, Denny, Nuttall and their baying and braying rabble unaware of how to behave led to a totally outrageous display of behaviour.

The sad little Nuttall, Farage's unelected puppet chairman, lacked the maturity or competence to control the meeting and order was not restored until The Police arrived to restore order. At NO STAGE was anyone removed by The Police, their sole action was to restore order for an incompetent Chairman who had lost control of himself and the meeting.

The tape recording shows that Dr. Edmond's commentary was accurate and Farage is a liar.

No doubt this is why Farage felt the need to invent a case against loyal elected EUkip members to remove the honest ones - just look at the pond life that EUkip now has in its leadership team!

It is tragic to see the hopes and dreams of so many decent folk betrayed and the clear failure of UKIP and any meaningfull anti membership presence in The EU - replaced by liars, cheats, low lifes and a claque seeking self enrichment NOT the well being of these United Kingdoms.

Clearly UKIP has failed.

Hi,

I note:

Dr. Edmond states:
He had done this in Ireland with Ganley and frequently crowed about his contribution to the successful Ganley campaign against the Lisbon treaty.I believe even Eric Edmond has been duped if he believes this - Farage despite his claims had little or nothing to do with opposition to The (New Constitution) Lisbon Treaty, either in Britain, where he did absolutely NOTHING other than demoralise the EUroSceptics who want OUT of The EU nor in Ireland.

It is dishonest of Farage to make claims to having participated in Ireland in any meaningfull terms - to make such a claim is to overlook the longest serving member of the PRO EU Ind.Dem.Group the long term Chairman Jens Piers Bonde was looking for a new 'nice little earner' having resigned from The Ind.Dem.Group under something of a cloud.

Bonde latched onto Ganley and is now an 'adviser' to Ganley.

Since The Ind.Dem.Group are pro EU and pro CHANGE as is Libertas and thus with Ganley AND much of the Irish contingent of MEPs are in the group AND Cathy Snott is co Chairman of the Group it is hardly surprising that they used their share of the tax payers' money to organise a mail out.

What did Farage do??

I believe Farage is telling lies AGAIN.

Thx Greg, I meant that Farage had been happy to be associated with Libertas in Ireland when Ganley won the vote against the Lisbon Treaty and Farage tried to bask in the reflected glory. However in late 08 when Ganley refused to work with Farage on the Euro elections I was portrayed by Farage as a traitor for stating I would go along with whatever was the majority view in UKIP on this matter.

I think neither the present UKIP or Libertas will free our country from EU rule that can only come from a UK party based in the UK winning seats in Westminster elections and repealing Heath's 72/73 European Act

Hi,

Increasingly as a result of the betrayal of Britain by The Faragista Fan Club and the demise of UKIP and the fact that Sir Alan Judge is little more than a pressure on The Tories (check his record!) and declan Ganley is on an ego trip with cash.

Increasingly I fear that Westminster will be no help as the structure is wrong for election of honest representation.

FPTP precludes small party election and even if EUkip had 70 MEPs they have no credibility or traction for a Westminster election nor have they sufficient members competent or trained with political nouse.

Increasingly a degree of limited civil revolt will become inevitable. The people will get us out of TheEU NOT the political elite.

The anger is NOT about political expenses at the moment but about betrayal by our Snivil Cervants & Political elite which is opening the door USING expenses as the door handle!

Astonishingly EUkip will get much of the praise but they have done more to keep us in The EU than get us out. The people will not permit the EU to continue.

Getting Britain out of the EU is OUR job as the people as UKIP is no more - EUkip is utterly without principle, ethics, morality or vision. There is not a single solitary candidate in EUkip likely to be elected who has not sold out.

They really are the scum of the earth - the leadership and candidates are a traitors to the ethics of Britain.

Greg L-W.

Greg, I agree broadly with the thrust of your comments. UKIP are being heavily promoted and protected by the media and the BBC in particular for two reasons. First to try and keep the BNP vote down but more importantly to keep out those who genuinely want us out of the EU. This is the Establishment's major aim. As long as Farage and his fellow careerists run UKIP it poses no threat at all to the broad pro EU LibLabCon BBC consensus. A grass roots revolution of the type you describe driven by dire economic circumstances is our best hope of freeomg our country from EU rule.

Hi,

Eric Edmond saidI agree broadly with the thrust of your comments. UKIP are being heavily promoted and protected by the media and the BBC in particular for two reasons.I am not entirely sure you are not reading too much into this and creating the schiboleth of a 'conspiracy' - having seen the incompetence of how MPs have orchestrated the scam of paying themselves and giving themselves pay rises disguised as 'Allowances'
AND the fact that they have entered into a conspiracy to defraud HMR&C one realises just how incompetent they and the Snivil Cervants are!

Though I will say not a single politician in Britain had the integrity to break ranks and refuse to enter into what is a criminal conspiracy to defraud.

It was Parliament itself which denounced Edward VII and forced the Monarchy to pay taxes as every subject had to be bound by the same laws and taxes - You may recall HRH Anne was fined for speeding on HER MAJESTY'S HIGHWAY!

Eric Edmond said First to try and keep the BNP vote down,Unfortunately this has proved difficult as The BNP has displayed a great deal more political accumen that has EUkip and with better communications and less money!

That EUkip has acted as a recruiting sargeant for EUkip is to the eternal shame of The Farage Party - they have put a great deal of effort into raising the profile of The BNP.

Aided most noticeably by Mark Croucher, Searchlight & Farage's farcical fantasy 'Reichstag Fire' moment!

Eric Edmond said
but more importantly to keep out those who genuinely want us out of the EU.

I would opine this is far more a case of venal little men who are dishonest enough to displace men and women of integrity, merely to keep their snouts in the trough - I do not believe ANY of the MEPs in EUkip have the intelligence or accumen to deliberately act in a political manner - they are imature lightweights with extraordinarily little competence or political nouse - hence they were heading for 0>3 MEPs based on their merit and ability.

It is merely the folly at Westminster, the poor damage limitation at Westminster and the myopic circus for circulation at The Telegraph that has changed EUkip's expectations.

Eric Edmond saidThis is the Establishment's major aim.

They have no need of loose cannons and intelectual pygmies nor moral dyslexics - Usefull idiots like EUkip's leadership act in such an entirely predictable manner that there is no need to hire, train or shelter them - The natural response to such people by Common Purpose and their forerunners The Moral Majority, The Communist and their accolytes be they like Searchlight or extreme authoritarianism of The Greens (and increasingly EUkip) is sufficient for the back lash of Labour or Tory luvvies who feel threatened - hence the BBC and 'so called' bias.

CONTINUATION FROM ABOVE:
Eric Edmond saidAs long as Farage and his fellow careerists run UKIP it poses no threat at all to the broad pro EU LibLabCon BBC consensus.

I contend that Farage was right when he said there wasn't a cigarette paper twixt the Lib.Lab.Con. but then again there is not a Rizla twixt he and they as all are driven by venal greed and self enrichment - consider the £Millions Farage has made and where does he differ from the Lib.Lab.Con. - should it in fact be:
ELib.ULab.KConIP?

Eric Edmond saidA grass roots revolution of the type you describe driven by dire economic circumstances is our best hope of freeomg our country from EU rule.,Little changes from when I first said in 1959 or 1960 that the most dangerous time for the Western World would be when the masses realised that The USSR was not a threat as the centralising of its control had destroyed its efficacy and the moment of danger would follow the opening and destruction of The Wall.

It was in fact NOT the massive defence spend of The West that brought the wall down it was the beaming of 26 episodes of Dallas into The USSR by satellite - Why do you thing Russian TV bought Coronation Street!

The next moment I predicted of inevitable catastrophy was in 1968 when Councils became salaried and had expenses and Wilson encouraged every citizen to have a bank account and pay to be by money transfer. Then I predicted it would be a very short time before Politicians advocated widespread use of credit to create a false feel good factor.

In 1969 I predicted a global economic whipe out and the debasement of currency to Zero value world wide with ensuing famine, wars of disassociation and protectionism and a 50% reduction in world population.

I was wrong on the date as I believed it would be in the first decade of the new millenium - but I believe it would be a brave man or a fool who gainsyed its inevitability within 10 years from the end of that decade.

We start to have uncontrollable power outs in 2-3 years - we already have Government Intervention Stores being secured and our police have had delivered 27,000 Heckler & Kochs and 17,000 Pump Action Shotguns (currently in store).

See the answer to Patrick Nicholl's question on my behalf of the Home Office, answered by Paul Boateng (remember him - yet another Scottish mafia member of Blair's team) - see Hansard.

It is inevitable and it is thus our duty to inform and oppose corruption so that when the storm comes the British peoples will have politicians they can trust - we have a lot of work to do!

The drawback of an unpleasant message is people will curse the messenger until it is too late ;-) Unfortunately that does not absolve us of our duty and now perhaps you understand why I and a few others are 'driven' - we have seen your future and wish to spare you of it.
