What became of Andreasen & Bannerman

I am very grateful to Mike Bridgeman for supplying this link to the Tory MEP slates published by Guido. Bannerman figures in the Eastern Region where he was at number 3:

FORD MEP Vicky
VAN ORDEN MBE MEP Geoffrey
CAMPBELL BANNERMAN MEP David
FLACK John
HUNT Tom
SIMONS Margaret
COLLETT Jonathan

Not bad for a double ratter, first a Tory, then a Kipper, then a Tory but what message does it send to loyal Tories. I think I should have a word with my former BoE colleague Matthew Hancock Tory MP for West Suffolk about this. It cannot be good for party morale. I know Tory membership is in steep decline but I did not realise quite how low it must have gone.

Andreasen figures at number 4 on the South East Tory list:

HANNAN MEP Daniel
DEVA DL MEP Nirj Joseph
ASHWORTH MEP Richard
ANDREASEN MEP Marta
ROBINSON Richard
KNIGHT Graham
MARSON Cllr Julie
JEFFREY George
LOVE Rory
PEPPER Adrian

Again a moral sapping selection for the diminishing army of Tory footsoldiers and indicative of a party in decline.

Both are standing in the same region they were elected as Farage proteges in 2009. Will it not be vastly amusing if in 2014 both fail to be elected. A dire warning for those who cross the Furher whose favour is notoriously fickle.

A rising tide lifts all boats but an ebb shows who has been swimming without a swim suit if I can mix my metaphors.

Its a salutory warning to those currently enjoying the leader's favour of what can happen if they don't obey Farage.

For those like Williaam Legge, UKIP MEP in the SW  this was drummed into him at Eton. Sucking up is the best policy is a lesson well taught at all public schools as Flashman Cameron can confirm.

I confidently expect UKIP to get around 30 MEPs in 2014 with Labour also doing well with say 25. That only leaves 23 for ConLib. This scenario does not look good for A & B. Still that's the way the croissant crumbles from which you will understand I am still in France
