Do what scares your enemy

It must be clear by now to everyone that the EU commission is a deadly enemy of the UK.It must also be clear to all that T May is slowly  sinking into a political swamp of her own making and taking our country down with her. So who scares the EU most? Or to put it another way who would Barnier least like to face. Its the classic cricket captain's choice of who to open the bowling against the .
opposition's leading batter.

The answer by a mile is BoJo.

I can already hear the nay saying whingeing from the Harrogaters etc who have never won an election in their lives. BoJo has his downsides but the  fundamental requirement of a leader is to win the battle and then the war. BoJo has a track record of winning in parliamentary and mayoral elections so he should be our leader just as Arthur Wellesley was chosen to lead the British forces against Napoleon on the back of his winning record in India.

Forget about the niceties and back and support a proven winner who puts the fear of death into the EU commission. If the Tories choose differently they will be in opposition for the next 25 years for failing to deliver the Brexit we voted for and delivering us into the hands of Corbyn. The electorate want a charismatic leader to make Brexit a success. The ordinary people have done their bit. Its time for the elite to supply  the leader.

I think you are getting confused Eric as come what may we will be leaving the EU in March next year.

The unknown is how much damage we do to our £270 billions worth of trade with our EU neighbours in the Single Market we spent 45 years developing with them.

As to Bojo for PM fortunately he has as much chance of being selected as I would have in asking you to be complimentary about Paddy Pantsdown :-)

The Major is 50 years behind the times. The Common Market was then mainly a trade project. The EU is mainly political project.

Just listened to Rees Mogg emphasising that these are political not technical trade discussions to the extent he would like to see a UK minister based in Brussels in charge of our end. For commons arithmetic he suggested Michael Forsyth.

The Major has not twigged to the nature of these discussions

The only time Harrogate was important was during WWII when the government would have fled there if Hitler had invaded

Eric, I doubt you have even read our 29 page THA pamphlet and yet you feel placed to criticise it?

I have totally twigged these discussions but our PM, government and politicians haven't. The CM has indeed become the SM which we helped create over 45 years and currently provides £270 billion pounds worth of trade for our businesses with our EU neighbours.

JRM talks well but doesn't understand how complex world trade is these days with any successful trade deal requiring the adherance to rules, regulations, an adjudication process and associated costs. JRM is only interested in JRM and maintaining his huge wealth (and it would appear having children!)

In June 2016 we were asked if we wanted to leave the EU and we will be in March next year, The issue yet to be sorted out is how we maintain our trade with the EU 27 after we leave which has been developed over the last 45 years.
