Fear is the key to leaving the EU

The political elite is seeking to terrify people into voting to stay in the EU just as the Scots were terrified of the "risks" of leaving the UK. To this end they are pulling every dirty trick in the book to cow the populace into submission. The average voter is fed an unending diet of scare stories on losing their job if they vote to leave. It is of course the political elite who fear losing their cushy EU related jobs. Ordinary people doing ordinary useful jobs have nothing to fear from a Brexit. The demand for their labour will continue in or out of the EU. Their job prospects,  wage rates and housing prospects would rise once free from the threat of cheap East European labour and migrants is drastically reduced by leaving the EU.

Only politicians and well paid executives of large corporations benefit from UK membership of the EU. The rest of us lose.

Farage got it dead right today when he characterised the coming referendum as a contest between a united political class who support staying in the EU and  the ordinary voters who want out. This looks a bit like the Scottish Referendum wher LibLabCon shared a united platform against leaving the UK. Lib Dems lost 90% of their MPs and Labour almost all their MPs in Scotland. The beneficiaries were the Tories who in England terrified the population with the 'risk' of SNP Nicola Strurgeon rule to reduce LibLab south of the border to a vestigeal opposition. Cameron now sits at the head of  an unchallengeable Tory government with an absolute majority. Fear certainly worked as it always has done for the Tory establishment.

Farage's thesis, and I think he is right, is we, the ordinary people will resent this ganging up of the political elite agaist us in this referendum and vote to leave. You sometimes see the same thing in UK jury trials with a very biased judge where the jury, sick of being told what to do, vote to acquit. Most of the political class will disappear in this scenario which can only be good for our country. Ken Clarke should be the first to go. He clearly still wants us to join the Euro at some stage.. I can only describe this as political insanity and hope the BBC give his views on the Euro much publicity before the referendum.

It is time the leave camp played its fear card. Fear of losing yoiu job to cheap immigrannt labour. Fear of not getting social housing which all has to go to 'needy' immigrants. Fear of Muslim domination in more and more of our cities. Donald Trump is not stupid. He knows this is a vote winner. If we dont uae it now in a generation's time fuelled by Syrian/ Tuirkish immigration and a huge Muslim birth rate.they will be in the majority in the UK.

Look at what happened in Cologne with young Muslim men surrounding and assualting terrified German women and not a word of criticism about this from our monstrous regiment of  BBCwomen.

Its time to take the gloves off and play our fear card in this referendum right now. To paraphrase Dave's Oz pal you can't fatten the pig on market day, it has to start right now. We don't have much time left. If we get villified by the BBC etc do as Trump does and hit back hard. I want to leave a Christian country to my children not a Muslim caliphate clashing with Franco Prussian EU elite leading to inevitable blood on our sttreets.

Why Labour's political elite want us in the EU

I watched Chukka last week on the Brussels Broadcasting Corp speaking vehemently and irrationally why we must stay in the EU. Methought he did protest too much.

Look at it from the point of view of Labours political elite under Corbyn. They are out of office for the next 4 and a half years. Then in the 2020election they will be wiped out so not only no ministerial positions but they might well lose their seats. For an ambitious metropolitanista like Chukka thats a long time in the wildernes but if we are in the EU then his chums in Brussels can secure him a lucrative number to fill in time until 2025. But if we are not in the EU that avenue is closed. Disaster for Chukka and his political ambitions. He might have to start working for a living along with hundreds of other ex Spads.

WW III could start in Poland like WWII

I have long opined that our membership of the EU does not makes us more secure but less secure as it ties us into further possible European conflicts.  Poland wants NATO troops, including UK troops to be stationed in Poland to "deter" Russian aggression. The Telegraph reports it thus:

Poland is offering Cameron the quid pro quo of dropping its opppostion to the 4 year benefit embargo in his EU pretend negotiation in return for this unlimited guarantee.

Have we forgotten how such a guarantee dragged us into WWII?

Its the old UK FCO story of trading short term worthless concessions from us for long term real promises to Johnny Foreigner. Now they are asking for NATO forces, although I cannot see Obama agreeing, but the lever the Poles are using is an EU one on jelly bean Cameron.

If NATO does put troops into Poland it will be a huge provocation to Putin's Russia. Putin has a large well equipped army tougher and beter equipped than the motley collection of squabbling mid Europeans in N ATO and backed by a huge nuclear arsenal. I do hope someone talks some sense into our idiotic PM and he leaves Russia alone. Perhaps he should watch War & Peace

BBC pro EU bias obvious with Sarah Montague on Today

Nigel Lawson and Chukka were onToday ostensibly to discuss to discuss Cameron's forced change of heart to allow Csbinet ministers after the completion of the non-negotion to campaign for an Out vote whilst staying in the Cabinet. The link is

but you will have to fast forward 2 hours 35 ninutes to get to the discussion which quickly became one on the BBC perceived merits of the EU. No other views can be tolerated by our national broadcaster. La Montague, bias was obvious. She allowed Chukka to rabbit on interminably and without interuption with his unsupported statements that the EU was the greatest thing since sliced bread as we used to say at school.

Lawson was as courteous and affable as ever but was frequently interupted and shouted down by Montague. Listen to the clip and see if you agree. Monatague is a jounalistic dissgrace. She is a poeopagandist right out of the Dr Goebbels mould.

Chukka clearly like Mr Spock comes from another planet but he does not seem to be possessd of Mr Spock's logical mind.. His claim the UK government has marshalled strong support in the EU for anything is simply fiction.

We can look forward to many more such fairy stories from the Europhiles in the coming months and many more such biased interviews from the BBC

That is the clear message that is now emerging. Farage is pure poison to the Middle Britain voters who will decide the referendum. He is also not a political team player with a long history of back stabbing and intrigue. Like Arthur Daley whose coat Farage likes you just can't trust him. UKIP best get Mrs James in as leader asap. Farage will be quite happy to go to the red leather benches and host his very own TV chat show. I suggest a relaunch of Kilroy's old TV show,." Farage - the wheels are coming off

Its a very nasty story that the wheel nuts were deliberately loosened on the car Farage was driving back from Brussels to the UK.  It was an attempt to kill or seriously injure Farage. I find the French police's attitude indefensible.

The French police looked at it and said that sometimes nuts on one wheel can come a bit loose – but on all four wheels? 


Nigel Farage annoys a lot of EU apparatchiks and left wing media. All politicians run the risk of being attacked by murderous nutters. If it had been a left wing zealot that was attacked it would have been top of the BBC News but as the BBC hates Farage it gets narry a mention.

Nigel Farage stands up for our country in the EU parliament which is more than ca be said of Cameron, Clegg & Corbyn.

I have never disagreed with Nigel Farage on UKIP policy. He has largely said all the right things on policy at the right times and I admire him for it. Thank goodness he survived unhurt and more power to his elbow.
