I smell Ashdown's plotting behind the Lord's defeat of Osbornes planned tax credit cuts.

The Lib Dems are spitting blood after the Tories wiped them out in the West country. They clearly organised the Lords voting down the government proposals on tax credit changes. From P Ashdown down they hate the Tories. Nothing wrong in that but why prop them up when they need votes? Heath got through his1972 EC bill on the back of the votes of 8 Liberal MPs. Abstention would have seen the Bill defeated and our country would not be in the mess it is now in.

It was the same in 2010 when the put Cameron into Downing Street for a chance of getting their ample bums on the seats of Government limos. The always claim to act on principle but in fact the have no principles.

I hope next time they are totally wiped out from our country. Corbyn has more principles in his little finger than the whole of the Lib Dem party.

Cameron's sham negotiation is a waste of time

Thus writes Simon Jenkins, no Eurosceptic, in the Guardian today

http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2015/oct/14/eu-europe-britain-vote-no-cameron-reform-deal

Cameron's policy is a typical piece of LibLabCon pull the wool over the voters eyes by pretending to do something but actual do nothing just like Wislon did in 1975. The deferent UK public will tug their forelock and vote for those they wrongly perceive as their betters, Lords, Ladies, Sirs and the BBC.  The best article Nigel Lawson ever wrote as an FT teenage scribbler was how to assess a company board. Start at 100 and deduct 20 for every Lord and 10 for every Sir/Lady and when it gets to zero don't invest ie strip out those their becuse of their titles who as Tiny Rowland.once said serve the same function as tinsel on the Xmas tree.

With the House of Lords growing exponentially and now approaching 1000 boards stuffed with incompetents are now more common than when Lawson wrote his piece. They used to only be able to wreck their company but now there will be a never ending stream of Europhile peers pushed by the BBC and  businessmen like Roland Rat who grow fat at the EU lobby trough and will destroy our country which belogs to us all not just the public school Bullingdon club.

Cameron does not need a referendum to repeal the 1973 European Communities Act but firstly he does not want to and secondly thanks to the likes of Ken Clarke he will not get a majority. Clarke seems to be ever expanding as if connected to an air hose and is a fine example of empty barrels making most noise. So Cameron has fallen back on the fixed referendum. Why fixed? Well Cameron is on record as saying he will vote to stay in the EU come what may.

Why do our political elite always suck up to the EU? Again its a way of keeping the deferential plebs in their place. Look what happens when voters get a real choice, Jeremy Corbyn! A man who believes what he says and acts accordingly. No wonder the massed elite of the LibLab Cons helped by the BBC pour vitriol on Corbyn at every oportunity. The have seen the entire Labour top brass wiped out in Scotland by politicians who act in accord with their beliefs and are petrified it will spread to England. Bad news chaps it has already spreadwith Jeremy gnawing at Labour and Farage gnawing at the Tories. Farage is less successful because he is such a patent rotter compared wit Corvyn who is patently honest.

I look foward to Mr and Mrs Balls, wee Dougie etc spending 5 years in the political wilderness,  I hope they will at some stage be joined by Gideon and David.

Juncker admits we don't need the EU but the EU needs us

blob:https%3A//vine.co/f06d90bd-2c2f-4ef7-9655-85ea57cc1f71

Its called letting the cat out of the bag Herr Juncker. I look forward to the EU philes spinning their way out of this. Juncker has simply told the plain unvarnished truth. We should listen to Juncker and vote to leave.

There once was a banker called Wanless

Had he still been alive today he would have been a strong candidate to head the "IN" campaign. He managed to allow RBS aka Fred the Shred's minnow bank to gobble up his much larger Nat West bank. But his record of business incompetence does not stop there. He then went on to direct the Northern Rock fiasco and was canonised by GPs for awarding them a pay settlement which gave them twice the money for half the work and enabled GPs to ditch all that evening and weekend call outs which used to intefere with their golf games. Click to read the DT obit.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/obituaries/finance-obituaries/9298402/Sir-Derek-Wanless.html

or as the Guardian obit put it,

"In the financial services industry he was a high flyer who appeared to trip over at least two final hurdles, and in that sphere he may not be long remembered."

Never mind he made many GP's bank managers very happy.

Its a great pity he died so young as the combination of him with Stuart Rose who made a mess of Marks and Spencers, opened up M&S branches in France, shut down M&S in France would have been unstoppable.

PC boxes have been well ticked with Ms Sarpong, young, coloured, female, singer OBE quoted today as saying,  “way too dangerous” to leave the EU but better than Rose saying "being in saves everyone £480 million".

Thanks Stuart for some compelling arguments says Ms Sarpong

EU Titanic steams on

I thought Farage did well on Murnaghan this morning when he pointed out right now 52% of the great British public would vote to stay in. If however as a rider even if we cannot then control our own borders support for staying in drops to 36%. Publicity on what unlimited migration means for the poor in our country will ensure a leave vote. Its a one person one vote so the young person out of work has the same weight in this poll as the mega rich Branson or Sorrell or the three previous ex PMs whose record of cocking things up for the UK is unrivalled.

This is the message that has to be hammered home time after time. The philes will call this negative campaigning playing on the fears of the poor but let us be clear negative campaigning works. In the Scottish Referendum the stay campaign led by Darling was called "Fear" by those running the eventually succucess campaign. The political elite have no scruples about terrorising the poor and nor should we.

Cameron's four key demands published in today's Sunday Telegraph amount to nothing more than the status quo. It's a pretend renegotiation just like Wilson's in 1975,

Its the poor that will pay the price of unlimited immigration into the UK losing their jobs to immigrants along with their council houses, schools for their children and access to decent health care which incidentally is largely provide by UK trained junior hospital doctors not immigrants who can't speak English and whose claimed medical qualifications are seldom if ever checked.

The path into the UK is simple. Buy a forged Syrian passport in Turkey. Go to Germany and register as an asylum seeker and receive a German passport. The the whole EU including the UK is open to you so you can join Uncle Ali and Aunty Fatima in London and start claiming UK benefits..

I see the philes are still using the trade benefits we get from the EU. Its a lie. I reproduce the official UK figures below

Figure 3: EU/non-EU current account balance (Seasonally adjusted)

We are in balance on non EU trade but have a steadily increasing deficit with the EU. Add this to our EU budget payments of £20bn pa and you can see being in the EU is costing us £1 bn per week!

Truely we are on the Titanic heading for a giant iceberg. We need a 180 degree change of course which the political elite refer to as a U turn.

PS

Just watched Farage with Andrew Neil adopting a Janus like Monty Python position supporting Judean Peoples Front and the Peoples Front of Judea. Farage's problem is as Nick Watt pointed out he loses more votes for our cause than he gains, the Marmite politician sysndrome. Farage has to realise its time to let go his dictatorship of the cause for the greater goood of the UK. He has to stand aside from direct involvement in either campaign. He can of course appear on platforms for both groups. There will be plenty of opportunity after the referendum has been won and we have voted to leave. Does anyone think the Franco Prussian empire will simply accept the decision of the British peope?

They have a long history of ignoring democratic decisions they don't like. The real battle will start if we win an Out vote and thast's where Farage will come into his own..

Era of IMF as political plaything of the French must be ended. What about the EU?

Thus reads today's, 9th Oct headline in the DT business section. It regurgitates the material in my blog of 23 rd Sep,

http://www.ukiptruth.blogspot.co.uk/2015/09/germans-french-occupy-top-crucial-eu.html

Lynn's piece points out the current IMF supremo, Mme Lagarde is not even an economist but a lawyer and PR expert bent on a political career. Madame President sounds good in the Eylsee but she has been a disaster at the IMF with all decisions like supporting the disatsrous Greek Troika intervention an economic decision made for self seeking political reasons. That never ends well re Edward Heath.

People in glass houses however should not throw stones. I cannot recollect any BoE governors before Eddy George being economists indeed economic training was regarded as a real drawback for a governor.

More worrying is that the French also run the EU. Add in the Germans and their aparatchiks and the Franco Prussians outnumber Brits five to one in the corridors of power of  Brussels and blatantly favour French and German interests and companies. VW diesel fiddles will not be the only cockroach in the Brussels kitchen as Warren Buffet frequently points out. That is something the EU philes always forget to mention!.

Lynn's thesis is that this French dominance means they will be trying to turn the whole EU into an economic basket case on the French anti business model that I suspect Corbyn wants us to adopt. So a vote to remain is like voting to stay on the Titanic.

Big EUphile lies

One today from M Hollande on our EU referendum,

“The only possible way for those who’re not convinced about Europe is to leave Europe. There’s no other way.”

The conflation of Europe with the EU is the single biggest lie and is peddled ad nauseam by K Clarke, M Heseletine etc. Our referendum will be on our membership of the dirigiste EU. Perhaps M Hollande should take a look at the map. The UK is clearly part of Europe and always will be  as incidentally is Russia. Moscow is 1000 miles west of the Urals which have been the accepted Eastern boundary of Europe for over two thousand years.

Membership of the EU guarantees our security. This is worse than a lie. Membership of the EU threatens to involve us in continental wars. Right now it is the presence of German influence in the Ukraine  that is the likliest cause of a war between the EU and Russia. Putin is absolutely right not to tolerate Merkel's jack boots on Russia's borders.

Syria is of course another possible flash point. Russia will keep al Asaad in power and there is nothing the EU or even the US can do about it. We need Putin's help in the Middle East. He can exist quite well without the "colleagues".

Our security depends on N ATO not the EU.

Four  million UK jobs depend on our membership of the EU. Well only today the DT Business section headlined, "Brexit holds no worries, say bosses". This message is slowly starting to get through. UK jobs depend on trade with the whole world of which around 35% tops is with Europe.

We have been trading with Europe for many thousands of years as archeological finds in Orkney, Stonehenge etc prove. Much of the trade was across the North Sea to Scandanavia and some to the Middle East with the Phoenicians. Jobs depend on trade not pompous wind bag corrupt politicians.

Conflating the EU with Europe is the lie at the bottom of all this. Its a lie that has to be challenged wherever it is peddled and by whomsoever it is peddled. That is the only way to defeat the EU propaganda machine.

When will our rabid British feminist wimmin protest against medieval Muslim marriage practices?

The feminist Swedish foreign minister has put her head above the parapet to criticise Saudi and other Muslim regimes for enslaving women. They are forced into marriage at a very young age invariably to a much older male cousins with all that entails for genetic disease. Nione of our brave UK wimmin like Germaine Greer or Poly Toynbee seem to think this worthy of protest. Our male Muslim politicians like Sadeq Khan also ignore this repulsive custom.

It has fallen to the Swedish Foreign Minister Margot Wallstrom to protest against these practices. Nick Cohen in the Spectator has written an excellent piece on this topic

http://new.spectator.co.uk/2015/03/swedens-feminist-foreign-minister-has-dared-to-tell-the-truth-about-saudi-arabia-what-happens-now-concerns-us-all/

Special Representative of the Secretary-

Where does our very own crocodile shoes Theresa May stand on this issue

Britain's Home Secretary Theresa May speaks on the third day of the Conservative Party Conference in Manchester northern Britain, October 6 , 2015. REUTERS/Phil Noble

As Home secretary she should be warning all young UK girls contemplating marrying a Muslim and living in an Islamic country that they will be their husband's slave - read Nick Cohen's piece

Ms May and Mr Hammond should point out that their British citizenship will then count for naught.

Not a mention of this on the BBC. It is as Cohen writes,

"Yet there is no ‘Wallström affair’. Outside Sweden, the western media has barely covered the story, and Sweden’s EU allies have shown no inclination whatsoever to support her. A small Scandinavian nation faces sanctions, accusations of Islamophobia and maybe worse to come, and everyone stays silent. As so often, the scandal is that there isn’t a scandal."

Where are the colleagues in this matter?

Trans Pacific free trade deal agreed so where is the EU deal?

The Pacific deal was signed today after 5 years of tough negotiation between 12 sovereign Pacific rim nations including the US & Japan negotiating individually on their own behalf. It covers 40% of World trade.

The EU colleagues with their much vaunted klout have been trying for a similar deal with the US for more than 5 years and what has happened? Zilch. They are too busy squabbling with each other rather than getting on and negotiating with the Yanks. The whole deal had been hijacked by the German car industry. Post VW scandal its going to take a whole lot longer. So the Japs, Indians Malays etc forge ahead and we are left with the squabbling mid Europeans who cannot even agree a common language.

The EU philes rell us we cannot agree our own trade deals. How on earth did the Japs, Fillipinos Aussies etc  manage it? Answet, they did not have the colleagues to screw it up. .

Thank God for the Russians in Syria

The Russians won WWII in Europe against Hitler and saved us.  They lost 30 million people in doing so 5 times the number of Jews killed by Hitler that we hear about endlessly from the Kosher media. Putin by supporting Assad who is no threat to this country and attacking ISIS and their felliow travelllers who are has brought a clarity to this war which the Old Etonian Cameron and the sordid Obama with his Guantanemo concentration camp have proved incapable of doing.  Wooly quasi liberal obfuscation is the life blood of Western politics. Putin does clear thinking which will benefit us hugely if he destroys ISIL.

Sure the Russians want to keep their warm deep water port on the Med at Tartus but if it keeps the gun toting Yanks in check that is no bad thing. Its called the balance of power a policy familiar to Palmerston and all UK Foreign Secretaries in the 19th and 20th centuries. Its not without is downside like WWI.

You can only fight one enemy at a time so choose the one which poses the greatest danger to your interests. Sure Assad is a nasty dictator but as Kissinger said and I am sure Putin will agree he is our nasty little dictatator.

Obama/Cameron/EU foreign policy in the Middle East has left a fragmented collection of failed states, Iraq, Libya etc. Time to butt out and give the Russians a chance. They can hardly do worse but I fear the Jewish lobby in Washington will be doing their best to fowl things up although I do not think Obama needs any help in cocking things up. He is very competent in the cock up area on his own but he can always call on EU back up to really mess things up.

Farage the Divisive on This Week

Farage's performance on Andrew Neil's This Week showed exactly why this petty, petulant, nasty little man can  never  lead a successful leave the EU referendum campaign. Click below to watch the full horror show with Alan Johnson leader of the Labour stay in campaign smirking like a Cheshire cat as Farage showed his true colours and incompetence,

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b06g03vr/this-week-01102015

It was Farage at his unedifying worst attacking those who want to leave the EU and leaving AJ of the stay in campaign unscathed. This was pointed out to him by Andrew Neil who asked him why he was divisively attacking those sympathetic to his campaign as snobby Tories, a folly Farage compounded by repeating the phrase at least four times, and leaving Johnson alone.

Portillo pointed out Farage's UKIP was at war with its only MP Carswell who is being smeared by Farage's EU paid syscophants. I, Del Young and David Abbott when on the UKIP NEC were similarly smeared by these EU paid UKIP low life with their snouts in the EU trough. Despite what Farage protests about the EU just follow the EU money that ends up in Farage's bank account and you will find the truth. Farage does not want to leave the EU. It has provided him with a very lucrative living both directly and indirectly these last 15 years

Portillo treated him like the petulant spoilt child he is with the phrase, "Oh diddums get over it, get over yourself" in the middle of another Farage rant against the Tories. Absolutely correct Mr Portillo but I say again UKIP is not a political party its a Farage cult which is well past its sell by date.

I finish by pointing out that two Farage proteges foisted on UKIP, Bannerman and Andreasen, went back to the 'snobby' Tories asap to escape Farage's political luntic ravings and that UKIP is where it is not just because  of Farage but people like Alan Sked, Roger Knapman, Alan Wood, Trevor Colman and many others.
